I run down the stairs and grab a breakfast bar from my desk. I don't see anyone by the breakfast bar as I rush past which means they've all piled into the car by now.

"Where are you going?" My mom asks from the kitchen.

"School I'm gonna be late," I call as I grab my bag from beside the door. Jesus, I can't believe they didn't even try to wake me before getting in the car.

"Honey it's only six-thirty."

I turn around and see that my mom is still in her pajamas sipping a cup of coffee. Suddenly I recall a hazy memory.

"God I'm so stupid," I say as I sit at the bar and drop my face in my hands.

"Want to explain to me why?" my mom says grabbing some milk and a glass before placing them in front of me.

"Half asleep me thought she was a genius and set my clock an hour ahead. Then I wouldn't be late for school today."

"And you especially don't want to be late today because?"

"If I'm late I'll get detention and miss part of the game."

"Soccer right? Matt said something about a game going on today. He also said that game night was still on right?"

"I don't see why not? It should be over by five-thirty or six."

"Okay, I'll start dinner so it's done by the time you two are home. Tacos sound good?" She asks as Mia comes downstairs looking like she might still be asleep.

Mom chuckles and serves her a cup of coffee and sets it on the table.

"Would the zombie like some cream?" I ask as I open the fridge to make us some bagels.

"Mhm," She says and I can't help but chuckle and pass the creamer and cut up a bagel.

"And I would like it if you could pass me the eggs so I can begin breakfast,'' Mom says rinsing her mug and wiping her hands on her pants.

Slowly Mia became more human than undead and our brothers came downstairs. Mom made eggs and bagels and I had an extra glass of orange juice when no one was looking.

"I'm going to go get dressed," Mia says as she puts her dishes in the sink and jogs upstairs.

"I'm going to try and look more decent," I say following her upstairs. Late me had remembered to wear the jersey but I didn't get a chance to change out of my sweats and had the worst bun I have ever seen in my life. I am happy Oliver asked me to wear his jersey number and wanted to show it by not looking like a slob. The night before I had straightened my hair so I just had to brush it this morning.

I wait downstairs while everyone grabs their things. Matt is the first ready and he happily bounces down into the kitchen.

"Were you so excited about the game you didn't sleep?"

"No, my clock got messed up and made me think it was almost eight instead of six in the morning."

"You at least remembered the jersey. Wait did you sleep in it?"

"No, I threw it on over my tank top in my hurry."

"Ahh so did you just grab the jersey and book it?"

"Yeah," I say as we wait for everyone else to come down.

"Mom is making tacos tonight, do we need anything from the store?" I ask after a while of no one coming down.
