[[ for context, miu, kiibo and kokichi are going to the airport on a flight to the city so they can settle in their new apartment, paid for by hope's peak.]]

[[ alsooo....if you want it, i can do a part two of them on the flight and after]]

kokichi glanced through the doorway, curious.

miu was digging through her luggage, looking for her gum. she'd need it. with a sigh of relief, she pulled out a piece and put it in her mouth. "hiiii, miu!" kokichi stepped into her room and she rolled her eyes.

"hi, kokichi. what's with the good mood? are you really so happy to get out of the hellhole that was hope's peak?" she grinned at him.

"maaaaaaaybe. you made it really hard to have fun, miu." he smiled back, sitting down with her on her bed.

"fun? all you ever did was practice your little stupid pranks on us, i wouldn't call that 'fun'." she snorted with playful laughter.

"stupid? you're such a bully!" he said jokingly.

jokes like these kokichi couldn't make anywhere else. it was so comforting to have miu around, when no one else would play along with his jokes.

kokichi lied to himself a lot, but he couldn't lie to himself when he saw how she smiled. not when she lit the whole room up with that weapon of a look in her eyes, happy and confident.

it..wasn't pretty. not at all. totally.

"so, we're finally...leaving. it's a little weird, isn't it?" kokichi sighed, his eyes staring off into space.

"ah...yeah. i'm a little excited for what's gonna come next, though."

"what are you thinking?" he looked over at her, searching her thoughtful expression for anything to poke fun at.

"well, it'll be fun moving in with you guys..and i hope i get to make an amazing invention one day, one that'll be super useful!"

"you mean you haven't made a useful one yet? wooooooow!" he teased.

"hey! that's not what i-"

"guys, are we gonna go? we are required to go to the airport." kiibo said, their voice echoing the hallway.

"we gotta go now. c'mon, idiot." kokichi stood up and held out hid hand for her to grab onto.

she glanced at it cautiously, and went for it. she held kokichi's hand as they walked over to kiibo and out to the taxi.

he felt so much adrenaline rushing through him, like every time she held his hand a shiver would rattle down his spine.

miu sat in the front seat with the driver, while kokichi sat with kiibo in the back.

kiibo looked out the window. "hm.."

the way the robot looked perplexed at the smallest things, like there was so much to comprehend that he wanted to understand...it was adorable. kokichi, again, couldn't lie to himself when kiibo looked like his boyfriend was a puzzle, and they were trying to slide all the right pieces into place to fully understand what he felt.

argh. quit being so flustered over these two. you're the composed one! you have the upper hand! take the advantage, kokichi! he thought to himself.

"you okay?" kokichi said quietly.

"oh-er, yeah...just..um.." kiibo looked embarrassed as their voice got quiet and he looked away.

"i've never flied before. on an airplane. i know it sounds weird, but i'm a little scared to go."

kokichi's eyes lit up. "no. way. you, a robot, who can fly, are scared of another bot that can fly?! oh my god!" he burst into a giggle.

"h-hey! it's not that strange, okay? it's just a bug! i never get scared, so this....'fear'-" kiibo said fear like they couldn't quite wrap his head around it. "-is unusual and uncommon."

"everyone gets scared, kiiboy. don't feel too foreign to this, because normal people get scared a lot." kokichi exaggerated the word lot.

kokichi lifted kiibos arm and weaseled under it, falling asleep in the robot's arms. hopefully that would make him less anxious.

"kokichi..wake up! we're here!" miu called. kokichi groggily stretched open his eyes to see an airport.

am i even gonna be awake enough to walk through this...?
