[[ context: they all own a house together, the setting is in the kitchen ]]
"hi, kokichi." miu walked past the boy, ruffling his purple hair casually. he huffed, smoothing it again, to follow her. "what are you doing?"
"why's it your business, worm?" she snickered, grabbing a box from a shelf. "w-worm?!" he frowned and attempted to grab the box from her hands, to no avail. she was tall. argh.
"i was being soo nice, miuuuu! why do you have to insult me everytime we hang out, you ditzy jerk!" he pouted. "cause you deserve it." she laughed, teasingly.
he let out a "hmph". nothing was working! he wanted to see what she was doing. he weaseled underneath her right arm and grabbed it out of her strong grip. miu grabbed his shirt, tugging at him to give it back.
kokichi glanced at the box label. cake mix - non toxic and melts in your mouth! "what do you need cake mix for? you're too impaitent to be a cook." she snorted lightly, snatching it back.
"kaede's birthday is tomorrow, and pooichi told me to make her a cake, and obviously i can't say no to him or he'll start whining so.." she explained, trailing off.
"oh. well lucky for you, i'm an amaaaaaazing chef! the best one out there! you should let me help, because i'm the best baker to ever live!" his eyes lit up.
"i can tell you're lying, because i haven't seen you bake shit. but i do need your help, if you wouldn't be too fuckin' stubborn to offer it." she said, a little embarrassed to be asking kokichi for help.
"what's this? you're asking for my help? me, the greatest supreme leader to rule the earth has to help a pitiful mechanic like you?" he smirked.
"m-mechanic?! i'll have you know-" miu was about to tell him off, when kiibo stepped into the kitchen.
"hello!"
"oh, look! it's kiiboy! hi, kiiboy!" kokichi beamed, waving. "h-hi kiibo. we're baking a cake." miu was a little bit flustered, yet waved. kiibo walked over and sat on the counter.
"i never agreed, y-know.." kokichi chuckled. "a cake? that sounds pleasant. could i help?" miu looked perplexed, and kokichi looked stunned for a moment. "kiiboy, you can't even eat! why do you wanna bake?!" he burst out laughing.
kiibo looked sheepish and embarassed. "hey! kiibo can do what he wants. plus, i got the one that melts in your mouth for him! so just...be q-quiet!!" miu stuttered, sure of herself.
kokichi looked surprised. "well..i guess that makes sense. but don't blame me when you figure out robots can't swallow, either." he laughed.
"well, you're right, kokichi.." miu turned her head around. "eh?!"
"i can't eat most things, but i do find joy in cooking and learning about food. after all, i'm trying my best to live a life that an average human would live. so i enjoy partaking in baking, even if i can't eat the food i make." kiibo explained, smiling.
miu nodded, understanding what the robot felt.
"awwwww, kiiboy...i thought since you were a robot you wouldn't feel anything like that! but i guess your not completely heartless, huh?" kokichi grinned. he stepped over to kiibo, standing on his toes so he could give the robot a kiss on the cheek.
"and...fine, if kiiboy's baking, i'm baking too!"
"heartless?..i'm tired of you being robophobic, kokichi!" kiibo sighed, used to the backhanded remarks the supreme leader would make. "but i'm happy you'll help us."
but some strange part of him always got butterflies from the occassional kisses, and some strange part had gotten fond of their crazy antics, never knowing when their next bicker would start.
miu did the 👉 👈 thing with her hands, conflicted on what to say. "don't worry, dumpster. i won't leave you out, nishishi!" kokichi giggled, stepping close to miu so he could give her a kiss on the cheek. "d-d-dumpster!? stop the insults, will ya?!"
she felt embarrassed but bent down a little so the shorter boy could have easier access to her cheek. he gave it a teasing peck, seeming happy and content. of course, that wouldn't last forever, with how many emotions and situations kokichi pulled them into, but it was peaceful when it lasted.
"now, let's get to work! we can't slack off forever y'know, though i'm sure you'd love to!" miu barked out a laugh, getting the ingredients.
and even though the three bickered, joked, and talked all throughout the baking process, when it was done the cake looked amazing.
"better not eat it, miu!" kokichi taunted. "huh?!- what's that supposed to mean, cockitchy?! of course i wouldn't fuckin' eat it!" he took off, out of the kitchen, and miu chased after him.
sigh.
"it's weird to say it but..we did a good job. i think even through our differences, we all have a lot in common." kiibo said, calmed down.
the next day, kiibo, kokichi and miu all went to kaede's birthday with the cake they made. it was really fun, and the cake was pretty good! kiibo ended up getting some because it melted away instead of hurting him. they played games, talked, and enjoyed the party. the couple went home and fell asleep, tired yet happy.
