Chapter 83

Chaeyoung's POV

"Ah! Finally I'm done." I exclaimed as I already finished re-reading the proposals and approving what needs to be approved.

I checked my wristwatch and saw that it was already 6 o'clock pm.

"Mina's probably waiting at home." I mumbled to myself and started fixing my things. Well I was suppose to pick her up but I just had so many works so I didn't get to pick her up but once I get home we'll immediately go somewhere else because I'm planning on taking her out on a date it's to make up for not being with her recently.

"Goodbye Ms. Son have a nice evening." Ms. Kwon greeted me with a smile and bowed when I walked out the office.

"Have a good night as well Ms. Kwon." I mumbled and quickly went inside the elevator pressed the ground floor where the parking lot is. Once I got out of the elevator I took out my keys and pressed a button and there my headlights are on so now I know where it is so I quickly went there got inside and drove away to my home— Mina's my home.

I parked my car but not at the garage just outside then went out my car grabbed my bag and made my way to our house where guards are scattered, just like what dad said I should never let my guard down. They bowed as soon as they saw me and I did as well before going inside the house to see no one in the living room so I went to the kitchen and no Mina there as well so my last option is our room.

"Babe I'm here! Are you ready?" I mumbled opening the door just to turn back around when I saw Mina getting dressed.

"I-i'm sorry I didn't know y-you were getting d-dressed." I mumbled stuttering then I heard her chuckling at my back.

"It's okay I'm done anyways so you can turn around now." She said and I did turn around and saw her wearing a plain white shirt and a beige skirt with straps on the shoulder— what a cute penguin!

"You said you have a surprise so I figured we were going out so here I dressed casually, does it look good?" She asked me smiling while I reciprocated the smile and went closer to her.

"You look absolutely beautiful whatever you wear." I said smiling at her and pecked her lips.

"Just wait for me here, I'll just take a quick bath." I said and she nodded so I went to the bathroom stripped my clothes put them on the basket where dirty clothes go and took a quick shower. Once I was done I slowly ran to our walk-in closet grabbed a pair of clothes and dressed, I just went with her style casual just track pants and an oversized shirt.

"Let's go Minari." I said smiling at her she nodded so I held her hand and we walked out the room hand in hand and was greeted by a running Ray.

"Ray mommy and dada are going somewhere so behave here okay?" Mina said caressing Ray's head who barked making us chuckle and with one last pat on his head we went out the house making our way to my car, once I secured her I went to the guards.

"Make sure that no one gets in here if someone we don't know comes here don't let them in and keep yourself on guards got it?" I told them and they just nodded their heads and went to their positions while I went back to the car went inside and drove away.

"So where are you taking me Ms. Son?" Mina asked and I glanced at her and chuckled.

"You'll see Ms. Myoui and I hope you'll like it." I told her and I just heard a giggle from her making me smile— what? I'm so whipped for her!

"This way Ms. Son Ms. Myoui." The waiter said and guided us to the place I reserved earlier while I was still at the company.

"Wow! It's so pretty!" Mina exclaimed and ran to the place like a 5 year old kid— it's just in Hawaii such a cute kid.

"There's so many flowers, they're so pretty!" She said and went close to one of the flowers, it's Tulips one of my favourite flowers.

"How'd you found did this place?" She said coming back to me still with that gummy smile that I love.

"Well Ms. Kwon told me about this place when I was searching for a perfect place to have a dinner date and she suggested this place and she's right when she said that you'll love it." I said and guided her to our table pulled her chair for her she sat down while I sat on my seat.

"It's really pretty and I love it! There's so many flowers there's even carnations it looks so cute." She said looking around then to me smiling while I reciprocated the same smile she had.

"Next time I'll take you to somewhere else, a place that you could only see flowers and breathe fresh air you'll like it there." I said while she squeal in joy clapping her hands still with that gummy smile that I love. After a few minutes our food came then we started to eat talked and laughed about random things we could think of we were having so much fun we didn't even notice the time.

"We have to go babe, it's already 9." I said and she looked at her phone and shocked when she saw the it was really already 9. We both stood up went out the place then back into my car opened the door for her fixed her seatbelt like I always do and went to the drivers seat and drove back home. When we got back home we quickly went out the car, Mina went straight inside while I stayed out for a while to talk to the guards.

"Did anyone come here?" I asked and they just shook their head.

"No one came Miss just your friend Ms. Jennie and Ms. Manoban." One of the guards said and I nodded before going inside locked the door and went straight to our room. I flopped down on the bed once I reach our room— I'm really tired today I'm so sleepy.

"Chaeyoung-ah change clothes first." Mina mumbled behind me while I just raised my hand and showed her a five telling her just five more minutes.

"Change now so we can sleep, and you look really tired so please babe~" She again said making me chuckle and look at her smiling and I saw her pouting.

"Okay I'm getting up just wait for me and we'll sleep." I said and quickly changed my clothes then laid beside her hugged her after finishing getting changed.

"Now come here my big baby." I mumbled and pat my left arm for her to use a pillow and she did then hugged me and snuggled closer burying her face on my neck—this is our favourite position when sleeping.

"Oh uh babe?" She called and I looked at her while she's already looking at me.

"Uh Jennie invited me and the girls to uh go a bar this friday." She said and I frowned,not that I don't trust her it's just dangerous right now.

"I'll be with the Jennie Rosé Jihyo Nayeon Sana and Momo, and I'm bringing my bodyguard's with me so no need to worry babe we'll be careful I promise." She mumbled looking at me with those puppy eyes of hers that I just can't resist so I nodded while she smiled and pecked my lips multiple times.

"Okay so now let's sleep we still have classes tomorrow." I said and she looked at me surprised at what I said, yeah I won't be attending the company for a week Dad gave me time to take a rest and focus on my school and Mina first which made me happy because I'll be able to spend time with them.

"Really? Yey! We can hang out with the others now." She said squealing making me giggle and pat her back softly.

"Calm down big baby you still need to sleep or else we'll be late tomorrow." I said and she just nodded and snuggled to me making me giggle so I started to pat her back softly and hum the same tune that I hum to her every night—she's just like a real baby.

"Goodnight Minari, I love you." I mumbled to my sleeping penguin and kissed her forehead before I drifted into my dreamland.
