Chapter 92

A month after Mina woke up

Mina's POV

I'm now here at Chaeyoung's office, yeah this is hers now officially she said that after she graduated her dad gave her the position and let her handle everything since then and I'm proud of her because she's handling everything well but I feel sad because I wasn't there with her throughout the nights she cried beside the bed holding my hands asking me to wake up, our friends told me about that which makes me really sad.

"Hey babe sorry I took long the investors made suggestions about the new next building that we're opening." She said as she walked in her office holding a paper bag in her hands

"Oh here eat first, you didn't eat much earlier." She said as she handed me the paper bag with foods that I gladly took and smiled at her.

"Babe?" I called for her as she was now sitting on her chair reading papers so I just went close to her wrapped my arms around her neck and pecked her lips.

"Happy birthday." I mumbled and pecked her lips again earning a smile from her then she wrapped her arms around my waist and buried her face on my chest.

"I really missed feeling like home whenever I hug you." She mumbled hugging me tighter then looked up at me.

"I love you." She muttered making me smile and cupped her cheeks caressing them gently.

"I love you more." I said then she kissed me after pulling me to her lap, we were so engrossed in kissing when someone suddenly came in startling us and making me stand up from her lap.

"I-i'm sorry Miss Son I was just a-about to inform you that someone is looking for you." Her secretary said and left her office while I just stood there with blushing face embarrassed being caught making out in her office.

"Let's have a date tonight yeah?" She mumbled making me turn back to her and smiled nodding well why am I going to refuse? It's been 4 years since we last went out on a date. The whole day she was signing papers and reading proposals having meeting and now she's all done and we're just eating dinner at the place she took me 4 years ago you know the place with many flowers in your surrounding while having dinner.

"It's much more beautiful here than the last I went here." I mumbled as we were now walking around the place hand in hand until suddenly the lights around the place went out and Chaeyoung's hands wasn't holding mine anymore making me scared.

"Chaeyoung? Chaeyoung where are you this isn't funny." I muttered calling out to her then I heard something from my back so I turned around and there she was standing holding my favourite flowers in her hands.

"I know this isn't the most romantic thing ever but.... I just can't let another day week month or even another 4 years to pass of waking up everyday knowing that you're still asleep with dextrose and monitors in our room supporting you in fighting for your life...it makes me feel lonely and alone even when they're there with me cheering me up it's just so different when you're the one making me smile and I can't live without seeing you, your beautiful gummy smile, without hugging you and being able to feel your warmth it's so so lonely without..." she stated still standing there looking at me with her eyes showing that she was or still in pain and it makes me sad and wanna cry so much seeing her like that.

"Bumping into you that day at the school garden 4 years ago was actually the best thing that happened in my life other than having you..." she muttered now with a smile making me smile as well now that her eyes soften as she says those words.

"I used to live my life alone before since I lost Joy, but since I met you everything changed my life was brought back to normal just starting that day it was much more happier and because I get to spend each day of it with you, we've gone through a lot so much they might not know but us we do the small arguments the fights the avoiding each other they don't know that but we do but through it all we over come all of those together you didn't leave me but just slept on me for 4 years.." she said chuckling making me chuckle as well even tho my eyes are glistening in tears already and now she was getting closer.

"I don't just wanna spend years with you you know? Why? Because I want to be with you forever or if forever doesn't exist then for as long as we're living I want to be with you everyday every week every month every year every important occasions and until our kid/kids grow old and until our hairs turn gray..." she said now standing in front of me handing me the flowers and wiped my tears smiling at me.

"What is this Chaeyoung-ah?" I asked even tho I already know what.

"This? You said to propose to you properly right?" She said and I nodded while she smiled and took out a small box from her pocket and kneeled down in front of me.

"So this is me proposing properly and asking you Myoui Mina if you would marry me with stay me for the rest of our lives as long as we're living until our hairs turn gray so Mina...Will you marry me?" She mumbled while I cried again and nodded earning a smile from her.

"It's not like I would say no right? Of course I'll marry you Chaeyoungie~" I said and she stood up hugged me which I reciprocated then she pulled away and put the ring on my finger where the first ring was.

"I love you so much Mina." She mumbled.

"And I love you much more Chaeyoung." I said and she kissed me our lips moving in sync until we both pulled away and looked at each other love in our eyes and smiles on our lips.
