Chapter 91

4 Years after

Chaeyoung's POV

I'm now heading to where Mina is, it's already been four years and I miss her so much I've celebrated Birthdays Christmas New year and other ocassions without her, I really really miss her so much. Our friends are married now well except for Dahyun Momo and Sana and Tzuyu and Rosé and Jisoo those three couple are still engaged, Dahyun and Tzuyu and Jisoo proposed to them at same time a year ago and I'm so happy for them while Nayeon Jeongyeon, Jihyo Daniel, Jennie Lisa are already married just like Jennie and Lisa's plan they got married after our graduation while 2Yeon and Danhyo got married a year after Jennie and Lisa got married and I'm so happy for my friends because they're with their love ones while me? I'm here missing her.

"Hey Chaeyoung!" Sana unnie exclaimed as she saw me so I smiled at her.

"Hey unnie." I greeted smiling at her too."

"She's waiting go on." She said and winked at me making me chuckle and went to where Mina was and there she is lying on the bed still with that dextrose on her so I went close to her placed the flower I bought on the vase and sat beside her on the bed and held her hand.

"Happy 27th birthday babe." I mumbled as I caressed her hand that I was holding and kissed her forehead.

"You wanna know what I want for your birthday?" I asked her as if she will answer me making me chuckle and look at her again with my eyes tearing up.

"I just want you to wake up, I really miss you Minari and it's bern four years...wake up please.." I sobbed begging for her to wake up as if she will hear me. She had been in a coma for 4 years the day they found me and she was brought to the hospital and the doctor came out we cried when we saw her face sad until she told us that Mina is okay and surgery was successful but she said that she might be in coma for long because of losing too much blood and because her back was hit because she was facing me when she got shot but luckily her spine didn't get hit or else she would be bedridden and the doctor said that she's still lucky her spine didn't get hit when most people that gets shot in the back gets their spines hit and I'm glad hers didn't get hit. I was still in my thoughts when I heard someone spoke and I looked at Mina but it wasn't her until..... I felt her finger moved in her hand that I was holding so I looked at her again and saw her slowly opening her eyes.

"Guys! Mina's awake call the doctor!" I yelled to get their attention then I heard hurried footsteps coming closer to us then the door opened revealing our friends.

"What did you say?" Momo unnie asked and they all were shocked when they saw Mina finally opened her eyes.

"Call the freaking doctor Jeongyeon, Mina is freaking awake!" Jihyo unnie excitedly exclaimed as she went close to me and Mina.

"H-how?" She asked and looked at me with a questioning look.

"I was talking her then I heard someone spoke but there's no one here but the both of us then I felt her finger moved and her eyes slowly opening and here she's awake." I muttered while all of them are now tearing up then Jeongyeon came back with the doctor behind her and checked Mina as soon as she got close.

"Glad you're back Miss Myoui, you're all good no complications no anything bad congratulations." The doctor said looking at Mina with a smile making us all happy now that she's awake. When the doctor left we immediately talked to Mina.

"Are you okay?"

"What are you feeling?"

"Do you need anything?"

Sana Momo and Nayeon unnie all said at the same time that earned a chuckle from Mina and—god! It feels so good to hear her again.

"I'm okay guys, I don't feel any pain just my head hurts and I don't need anything for now but water will do my throat is dry." She said and Nayeon unnie ordered Jeongyeon to get water which she quickly obeyed, Mina drank the water right away when Jeongyeon came back.

"Are you really feeling okay now babe?" I asked and she nodded smiling at me.

"What day is it?" She asked looking at us all.

"Today's your birthday Sharon, March 24 2025." Jennie said shocking Mina and looked at me asking for confirmation.

"You've been in a coma for 4 years babe." I said surprising her again but later on she smiled.

"I've been asleep for 4 years? That's the longest sleep I had other than a full whole day when I was 15." She said giggling making us all chuckle at how she can joke already right after waking up from a coma. We went down with Mina now dressed up in another clothes after she took a bath and I'm now helping her get down the stairs only to be greeted by both our parents.

"Oh my god! My princess is really awake!" Her mother muttered as she saw us walked down the stairs and quickly hugged her with tears in her eyes.

"Welcome back princess." Her dad said kissing her forehead and hugging her.

"Welcome back Mina." My mom said hugging her while my dad just gave her a smile and quick hug.

"Come on let's eat and celebrate your birthday/come back." Sana unnie said and we all nodded and went into the dinning area and ate talking and laughing about things we talk about until they all have to go home we drank a few glasses but then they went home as they still have to attend to their works and me also and so now I'm here in our room with Mina hugging me her head laying on my chest.

"I can't believe they're all married and engaged now." She said looking up at me causing me to smile because now finally I get wake up with her in my arms again.

"I'm engaged now as well princess." I said causing her to frown and making me chuckle.

"To whom may I ask?" She asked and I looked at her smiling and caressed her hair.

"To you of course silly." I said chuckling at her while she's looking at me confused.

"See this ring on your finger?" I asked and raised her hand that I was holding showing her the ring shocking her.

"I didn't notice that there." She said and I just smiled.

"Well I put that there 4 years ago when you were still at the hospital sleeping, I put that there and promised you while you were sleeping that once you wake up I'll marry you and now that you're awake I'll fulfill that promise." I said and kissed her forehead while she suddenly sat up and looked at me.

"I wasn't even aware! At least propose to me properly Chaeyoung-ah!" She said and whined to me hitting my arm making me chuckle instead of groaning in pain.

"I'll propose again so don't you worry my love just wait for me but for now let's sleep first okay?" I said patting my left arm arm for her to pillow like she used to before.

"Sleep again? I've been asleep for 4 years and now I'm sleeping again?" She jokingly said but I pouted at her making her chuckle and lay on my arms where I quickly wrapped my other arms around her waist as she snuggled closer and after 4 years finally I felt like home again in her arms— I missed this.

"I feel home again." She mumbled making me smile as I started to pat her back softly and hum the same tune as I did 4 years ago.

"And sleepy." She said chuckling while I kissed her forehead and continued lulling her to sleep.

"Goodnight I love you so much Chaeyoungie~" she mumbled as she snuggled closer hugging me.

"I love you much more Mina." I said still patting her back softly until I drifted off to sleep.
