Uma
"I'm not understanding, actually I don't understand at all." I stared at the board trying to figure out the complex equation, I've got to be some type of slow.
"Well, you carry the x over there, divide by y, multiply to find the factor, and then subtract by the coefficient-" I stared at the origin of the voice, she was tall. She had to be at least 5'8, she was dark-skinned, her eyes were hazel, and her hair was a short mess of curls that laid wildly on her temple.
"Might I ask who you are exactly?"
"My bad! I'm new here, my name is Rowan." I nodded at her as she outstretched her hand in order for me to shake it, I slapped it back.
"Uma."
"I see you aren't one for introductions, anyways that's how you solve the rest of those problems."
"No shit Sherlock."
"If it was so simple then how come you didn't solve it?" She quipped as I stared at her, does she dare mock my intelligence?
"Don't act smart princess, I quite frankly don't have the time for it." I snapped as she rolled her eyes,
"If I bruised your ego, just say that."
I didn't know what it was, but something came over me. I couldn't describe what happened, but the feeling was euphoric.
"I told you I don't have time for this." I stood up as my hands lit up and massacred my desk along with the teacher's giant white board.
"I'll see myself out." I stated as I grabbed my bag and left, I really have to talk to my dad soon about why I'm not in control of my powers.
"Love! You got kicked out of class too?" I turned to see Harry walking rather quickly towards me before he pulled me in for a hug.
"Harry, you've gotta stop getting kicked out of class." I grumbled as he patted my head and gave me a wired smile,
"Maybe if people weren't up my arse, I wouldn't have to get physical with them." He smiled at me wildly before finding another topic of conversation.
"Are you okay? You look frazzled."
"I met the new student."
"You too?"
"Is that the reason you got kicked out of class, Hook?"
"Yes, his name is Ryder. I don't like him at all, he's giving me bad vibes. And I'm the only person who should be doing that." He rolled his eyes at the last part, I pecked his cheek.
"It's okay, I met his sister Rowan, seems like they need to be taught a lesson." I quipped as I twirled my hair a bit, Harry caught onto what I was saying and immediately started to giggle.
"Oh my, are we going to drop this good act?" I turned and stared at him, was I really willingly to switch up my game plan so late in the game?
Yes, yes I was. Plans were subject to change, I wasn't inclined to stick to just one plan anyways.
"Of course, tell the crew. Better yet go find them, I've got to take care of some things."
"Aye aye, captain." He smirked as he gave me one quick kiss before running off to go find the crew.
I facepalmed to myself, I love that boy even more as each day passes.

"Dad, I don't understand. Why am I having problems now?" I asked my father as I was following him through his home, he was tending to business matters.
