T/N: This is me updating at 5:53 AM while waiting for my 7AM "still not sure if it's even happening" class and my 6 "to be given" exams later, after staying up awake all night finishing one of my practical exams with zero once of sleep and 3 whole cups of cold coffee.

"Run faster!" Chimon yelled.

I love this boy, but I was ready to kill him.

Thanks to him, I was out of bed before noon for a morning jog around the block.

Earth Pirapat was running beside me with a rope tied around his waist, gripping the end of the rope was my son on his skates.

"Come on Gun," Earth said, sensing the impending murder of my son. "Think of this as practice, in case you need to run away from the police."

"Couldn't you let it go? I hate them."

He laughed, "I know that's not true. I've heard everything about you and a certain brother."

I stumbled at this.

"Woah." He grabbed my arm and continued running. "Have you fallen in love with him already?"

"I'm not falling in love with Jumpol Aldulkkitiporn. It's just that I enjoy being mean to him and he takes it well."

"Keep telling yourself that, sweetie."

I wanted to smash him against the pavement, but he's a pretty big guy and I would probably just end up hurting myself.

"Faster!" Chimon screamed again.

Earth didn't seem to care, but I was about to kill him. However, I found myself running faster beside him, the things you do for your children.

By the time we got home, I was ready to collapse. I leaned down and put my hands on my knees.

I was panting and was about to fall when I heard a familiar voice.

"Gun!" I looked up to see Theo running towards me.

"Hey boy. What are you doing here?" I asked once I caught my breath.

He wrinkled his nose, "Alice and I are at Jennie's house. Today, she is our babysitter."

Oh, damn no.

"Hey Theo!" Chimon skidded towards us. "You should come over to my house. Dad bought me a new helmet, so I'm going to practice running to things with it to make sure it works."

He should have put a stop to Chim's plans right away, but he was too distracted.

What the hell was Off thinking leaving his children with that woman? I warned him that I would kidnap them again if necessary.

And well, right now it seemed necessary.

"Earth, would you stay with Chim for a minute? I'll be right back now."

Earth finished taking a bottle of water. "Of course." He tugged on the rope, pulling my giggling son towards him.

"Come on, Theo." I took his hand and headed over to Jennie's house.

When we got there, Jennie was trying to paint Alice's little nails, but she wasn't cooperating.

"Honey, you have to stay still." Jennie said patiently.

"I can't," Alice replied, bouncing a bit.

I tapped on the doorframe to get their attention.

"Gun!" Alice ran up to me and wrapped her arms around my legs, so I smiled and rubbed her back.
