Lauren awoke early one Saturday morning, her tired stretching body groaning out into the warm apartment air she'd more than got used to calling home by now as her grandma had been out of town visiting relatives, she opened up her bright emerald orbs expecting to see her girlfriend staring back as she did most mornings but was shocked to see her body completely missing from the bed

She rolled over checking for the time noting that she should really still be in bed but nope, she wasn't there! She sat her body up scratching at her eyes before standing to peer around the half open door issuing a loud yawning stretch as her warm feet patter across the flush wood, her eyes instantly spot the missing girl stood over the kitchen island sipping on a hot coffee with another just beside

"Oh, morning sleepy head? You ok?"

"Where did you go?"

She grumbled like a stroppy toddler as she walk her tired legs around to settle into a gentle morning hug, the warmth of Camila's body settling her very small disappointment in not waking up to those pooling brown orbs, Camila slid the coffee over into her palm with a smile kissing down on her forehead as she separate to sooth the annoyance

"I had a phone call, sorry baby!"

"Mhh ok, forgiven, what are we doing today?"

She mumbled sweetly leaning down to sip at the top of the foamy sweet caramel latte before standing to flip her thick black hair over her shoulder waiting for an answer as she reach forward to unconsciously play with the string on Camila's shorts

"Well... we're gonna have an ABY day.."

Lauren furrowed her brows letting go of the string confused by the 3 letters spoken as she swallow back the hot liquid in her mouth, the cute rosy cheeks more bewildered than anything as she repeat back the statement

"An ABY day?"

"Yep, and all about you day, whatever you wanna do.. we'll do it!"

Lauren's eyes immediately lit up as if being told she was going to Disney world, the past few weeks had been spent aimlessly working and fighting crime.. something that left little to no time for them to just be alone.. do something normal.. Camila smiled back leaning in to place a small kiss on the girls lips before reaching forward to tuck some stray hairs behind her ear

"So.. you need to think.. because today you make the plans!"

"For serious? Whatever I want?"

Camila nod back laughing as the girl twirl around in a small excitable circle caught by her arm latching around her lower back to centre her attention.. it was already 10am.. Lauren liked to sleep in that was a given but this was a lay in even for her!

"Ok well, I wanna go to the beach.. it looks super hot outside and we've never been together so?"

"The beach it is princess!"

Camila spoke back sweetly gazing back into those stunning green eyes as if the most precious jewels in the world, ones she wanted so badly to keep shining with happiness the way they were right now.. with Mason finally gone hopefully that would make things a little easier..

"Yay! Ok, I'll go shower... you wanna come?"

Lauren spoke turning back around mid sentence with a mischievous raised brow instantly accepted by the younger as she place her coffee down against the counter reaching her fingertips into Lauren's who quickly walk her into the bathroom

The girls quickly undress turning on the shower before Lauren flipped over her hair pulling it up into a messy bun that Camila couldn't help but stare at with an awe filled gaze, an open jaw and pooling brown orbs
