Gun woke up early in the morning and saw New setting on the chair beside his bed. He was searching for Off but he was not there.
''Gun, here have this. It's your breakfast.'' New said handing him his breakfast. ''You ate nothing since yesterday. In order to survive you need to eat something. You can't be this careless, you know! I also talked to our teacher about yesterday's exam. She said that you can give the absent exam the following week.'' New added. ''Thanks, buddy! I don't know what I would have done without you. Thank you for always understanding me and staying with me through thick and thin.'' Gun said with teary eyes. ''Now, you are thanking your best friend... Huh!!!'' New replied in a teasing voice. ''I have talked to the doctor also. He said you can go home today. So, we shall leave after you finish your breakfast.'' New added. Gun nodded in yes and started to wait for Off.
When they were about leave the hospital Gun's eyes were looking for Off but he couldn't find him. He was looking here and there just to meet Off for one last time. But unfortunately, Off was not there at that moment.
New and Gun lives in the same dorm. Gun's room was beside New's. After reaching the dorm both went to Gun's room. Gun was thinking about Off all the way coming back to their dorm. He was thinking about the conversations they both had back in that time.
''I think I need to take a shower now. So, I'm going back to my room.'' New said. ''Okay, then. I will call you after getting ready.'' Gun replied. New nodded in yes and left for his room.
Gun was in deep thought. Then, he thought he will be able to see Off at the funeral because he(Off) told him(Gun) that he(Off) will go there. But, he was still in a doubt because he(Gun) forbade him(Off) to go there.
After half and hour Gun took a shower and wore a black hoodie with blue jeans. Then, he texted New ''I am all ready to go.''

Gun and New reached the funeral. While New was searching for Tay and Arm ; Gun's eyes were still in search for Off. Then, New saw Tay crying at the corner and Arm Talking with other people.
''Gun, you go inside and talk with P'Arm. I want to meet P'Tay. He is crying at the corner. I really want to comfort him...'' New said while looking towards at Tay. ''Okay.'' Gun replied.
New went to Tay. But Tay didn't notice him because he was facing New backwards. New patted on Tay's shoulder. Tay then looked up at New and suddenly, hugged him tightly. After that he bursted into tears. New was kinda shocked. Then, New started to comfort Tay by gently caressing his hair.
''Calm down, P'Tay. I am here. I am here for you.'' New said.
He doesn't know why he said those words to Tay. But he sure he felt something special after Tay hugged him. The feeling was very much new to him. ( A/n :╰(*°▽°*)╯💙💙💙)
Tay was still crying his eyes out.
'' Cry. Cry all you want. I'm here. I will never leave you.'' New added.
After sometime, Tay parted the hug. Then, he became embarrassed and awkward.
'' It's okay P'. I can understand. There is nothing to be awkward of.'' New said to break awkwardness between them. ''Hmm....'' Tay said while looking at the floor. ''Are we good now??'' New asked.
Tay nodded in yes and gave a smile.
'' I want to ask you something.'' New said with curiosity in his eyes. ''Sure, go ahead.'' Tay replied. ''Ummm... Actually.... I wanted to ask about P'Arm. I saw him very calm and I think he was acting very normal. I can see his eyes filled with sorrow but I don't know... I think he was a little weird. Like yesterday, he was not crying at all...Please don't mind me about asking this...'' New said. ''Why would I mind?'' Tay said giving him assuring smile. ''I know. He was always like this. He was never really open with someone. He never crys in front of anyone also.'' Tay added. ''But why P'? Crying is not a bad thing. It actually makes people strong.'' New asked in wonder. ''Because, he saw his parents die in front of him in a car accident. Back then, he was only ten.'' Tay said to clear New's question. ''But...How did you meet him?'' New asked. ''Peng's parents eventually took care of him because they were family friends and neighbours. I met him through peng. We are friends for about 12 years or more. We all went to the same school and we also study at the same department in the same college.'' Tay replied. ''Ohhh..P', I am sorry for this rude question... I feel extremely bad for him...'' New said while looking down. ''It's okay, Nong... I also feel the same for him..'' Tay replied. ''I think, we should go to P'Arm and Gun now. They must have been waiting for us.'' New said while searching for them. ''Ummm....We should go now.'' Tay replied.
On the other side Gun went see Arm. Gun saw Arm, who was looking very much shattered. Arm's eyes were all swallen and red. It was pretty damn obvious that he cried his eyes out the whole night.
''P'Arm... I just came.. I hope I am not late...'' Gun said. ''No...Nong Gun... You are on time. Thanks for coming.'' Arm said. ''What are you saying P'!! It is my responsibility to attend the funeral of the person who saved my life... How can I not come here!'' Gun said with a teary voice which was cracking.
Then Arm talked about some other things. After a while, Tay and New joined them. They all talked for a while. Then, Gun met Off's parents and wai'ed at them. He talked with them and tried his best to comfort them as much as he could.
The funeral now was almost over but Gun's eyes didn't meet Off. He became sad. He thought that it was his fault that he didn't talk to Off nicely, as a result Off is not here with him. But what could he do, he was not a very social person. He (Gun) only had one friend and it was New.
On the other hand, Off was observing everything. He had gone to his house this morning then came to the funeral. After Gun and New came, he saw that Gun was actually searching for someone. He understood that the person Gun was searching was none but him. But he wanted to tease Gun. So, he didn't went close to him. He saw everything from a afar. When the funeral was eventually over and Gun was about to leave, he came near Gun and stood behind him.
''Gun!!'' Off called out Gun's name.
Gun immediately turned around to see the person of the familiar voice. Then, he saw Off standing right in front of him. Gun was very much surprised and happy to see him.
''P'Off!!!! You are back!!!'' Gun exclaimed in joy. ''Hmm...But did you miss me?? Betcha !! You must have missed me really bad???'' Off asked while giving Gun a little smirk.
