Family Get-Together

It had been almost five weeks since I was reborn in my baby body. My nursery designs still remained the same, but I've seen Mom and Dad add a few spells on the walls, windows and doors. They said it was to reinforce it for when I turn, since they don't want me hurting myself. They don't know when I'll transform so they want to be safe.
At this point, I'm glad that I'm not going to be affected by the moon and can control my transformations. The only thing that will be affected is my scent, especially the Alpha part. The alpha aura will be dominant during the full moon and it will come in handy in the future when I'll have to control groups of werewolves. As of now, it means I have to put in more effort to block it since I don't want trouble.
The scent can be picked up from extremely far away so I must keep it under control if I don't want trouble to find me.

Today I heard mom invited a few close friends to have a small get-together. They will be coming in for lunch so she is cooking now.
I am in my high chair at the kitchen table with some toys infront of me. James put me here with them since he had to leave to do something. He was playing with me before but left after the floo call.
Instead of playing with the toys, I was thinking. Mom would turn around every couple minutes to make sure I was ok. I still can't grasp the fact that I am with my parents, living in the same house. Yes I'm a baby but it still makes me happy. I get to be with them. I don't want to lose them again. I wish I can stay with them forever in this cozy house but I don't think fate will make it that easy for me. It feels great to be with them everyday. I've never known them in my past life, only from what people told me about them. They are so much better.

After a few hours, I woke up to voices. I don't know when I fell asleep, but I know someone is holding me right now. I smiled when I recognized the embrace. I was sleeping in Lily's arms. She must've collected me after I fell asleep in the kitchen. The voices brought me out from my head. We were in the living room and some persons were here. Lily noticed I woke up and lifted me more up so I was sitting. I can now look around at everyone. There was two people that I recognized as the Longbottoms. If they are here where is Neville? He was supposed to be around my age. I looked around and relaxed when I saw him in James' hands. There was also Sirius and Remus and to my disappointment, Peter. I can't do anything except cry, but that will ruin the mood. I decided against it to let them be since they look happy. I'll deal with Peter another time.

I didn't know that the adults realized I was awake and were watching me curiously. I wonder if they know about me being a werewolf. I think other than Remy and Siri, no one does since no one asked anything. I'm glad that they are keeping it a secret since the less people know, the better. It is not that the Longbottoms cannot be trusted. It's just better if they don't know so they are not involved in trouble. They already have Neville to look after and their own problems.

I was placed on the chair next to Lily and that is when I came out of my thoughts. I didn't hear what they said before so hopefully it was nothing important. I heard mom say something to James.

"Jamie, why don't you bring Neville over here next to Harry so they can play with each other."

James brought him over and placed him on the chair next to me.
We were given some toys, but at five weeks we really can't do anything other than holding them for a while. The adults continued talking among themselves and leaving us to play. I heard someone speak to me in a small voice.

"Hi"
