Our First Christmas Together Married

If one were to look into a city apartment on early Christmas morning they would see what looked like Christmas threw up. One of the two occupants in this apartment loved this time of year to the point of it being a borderline obsession. The other occupant didn't like this time of year as much if anything he was annoyed. Still he found it cute that his husband loved the holiday so much. He would bear through the holiday just for the silver haired male.

That morning in bed the two males were wrapped in an embrace as they slept on. Sunset eyes blinked open as if his body knew what day it was. Atsushi tiredly picked his phone up to look at the time. The time glared at him as he realized he woke up at 5 o'clock. He glanced at the date upon realizing it was Christmas morning Atsushi felt wide awake. He was excited as this would be his first Christmas being married to Ryuu. He put his phone down and turned around so he was facing his husband. He smiled as he saw the other male's relaxed face.

"Ryuu!" He gently shook the older man's shoulder to wake him up as he couldn't contain his excitement any longer. The black haired man groaned, tightening his arms around the male that was laying next to him.

"Come on Ryuu wake up. It's Christmas!!" Atsushi's voice was filled with joy. Ryuunosuke opened his weary eyes with another groan. He could tell it was too early to get up as he couldn't even see the light of the sun. His molten silver eyes that were drenched in sleep met with shining golden purple eyes.

"What time is it Atsu?" His voice was groggy and hoarse from the lack of use. He really just wanted to go back to sleep. He watched as a sheepish look overtook his husband's face.

"Umm....5am" Atsushi whispered as he knew how Ryuu didn't like to be woken up early on a non work day. Ryuunosuke's face went blank as he stared at his other half who was trying not to meet his gaze. He could not beli- no he could actually believe Atsushi would wake him up at 5 in the morning for a damn holiday.

"Go back to sleep Atsushi." He glared at Atsushi as he was now annoyed with him. He didn't mind Atsushi being excited for the holiday but he did mind when it interrupted his sleep. Especially on a day they didn't have any work. He loved his husband but sometimes he got irritated with him.

"But Ryuu.."

"Go to sleep Atsushi" His voice left no room for argument as he closed his eyes. He was tired as he had been working overtime so he could get the holiday off. He knew how important it was to Atsushi this year. As this would be their first Christmas as husbands. He pulled the younger man closer to him resting his chin on top of soft silver locks.

"Okay....." Atsushi now felt guilty for waking his husband up so early. He knew Ryuu had been working hard lately and how tired he was when he came home. He tucked his head into the older male's neck.

"I'm sorry for waking you Ryuu." Atsushi's voice was weak but guilt ridden. Ryuu frowned as he knew where his lover's thoughts were going.

"It's fine Atsushi. I know you are excited. Let's get some more sleep before enacting our plans." He kissed the shorter male's forehead which made the silver head tilt back. Ryuunosuke opened his eyes looking down. He gazed into Atsushi's eyes before leaning down bringing Atsushi in a gentle kiss. He could feel Atsushi shyly deepen the kiss, letting out a chuckle as he indulged him. Atsushi pulled back and nuzzled into Ryuu's neck with a smile.

"I love you Atsushi Akutagawa. Don't forget that." The black haired man could feel his husband's face heat up with a blush. Tightening his hold on the embarrassed man he closed his eyes. Right before he was about to fall asleep he heard his husband's soft voice.

"I love you too Ryuu." Atsushi closed his eyes as he could feel sleep creeping up on him. Both males have fallen back asleep with small smiles on their faces. They couldn't wait to spend Christmas with each other and their friends.
