You are a pearl of darkness
A symbol of grey
You're a giggle of past
You're the base of today
A proof of memories that I've been through,
In my spare time you can always find me looking at you .
You lurk behind me wherever I go,
The harshest of mountains the softest of snow.
When I'm in the spotlight you hide behind me ,
When I am alone you always accompany.
Though you change shapes you're always so true ,
How bright the light I have a fragment of you.
In the darkness you disappear but I can sense you around,
Just a little light is enough to hear your sound.
