Y/n and Dream were having a good time just playing some Minecraft off stream like they so often did.

They were on a server that the two of them had been playing on for a few months, meaning they had built themselves quite the society on there.

It had been hard for Y/n to convince Dream into playing on it to begin with as pretty much all the guy knew was speedrunning the game, but she managed to pull him in over and over again, and eventually it had become him who begged her to play.

They had never streamed while on the server before. It was something for just the two of them — something for them to play on while just chatting about whatever they wanted.

To be frank, it wasn't as much the game play as it was spending time together that made them love being in the server that much.

They were currently on one of their adventures; Dream was leading the way, following the a treasure map that Y/n had found in a shipwreck while she trailed behind him.

"Are you sure that you're tracking that correctly? I don't think I've ever spent this much time searching for a treasure," said Y/n in a skeptic manner.

They had been running for what felt like forever and Y/n was almost feeling like going back and dropping the mission rather than waste any more time on something they wouldn't find.

"No, no, it should be just around here, look," he said, his avatar tossing the map at her feet. She picked it up and gave it a look. Sure enough, they were just by it.

Though she knew Dream couldn't see, she nodded her head. "Alright, then. Let's look around."

She tossed him the map once again and followed his lead as soon as he had picked it back up and started running a bit further ahead.

Seeing as they were in the middle of a desert biome, the places for the treasure to be were unlimited. From Y/n's experience it was most likely located somewhere beneath the sand as the flat biome showcased no chest on its surface.

Dream, having figured the same thing, whipped out his shovel and started digging around. Thinking Dream was in the right spot, since he possessed the map on which the red cross that marked the treasure was, Y/n went over to where he stood, placing her avatar in front of his.

He dug a bit behind him before turning around to dig between where he and Y/n stood. Just as he dug a piece of sand right in front of her, the ground collapsed beneath her.

She let out a surprised scream as her avatar disappeared into what had been a hidden ravine, but she immediately shut up as a cracking sound could be heard, followed by a You died banner on her screen.

Silence took over the two for a few seconds before a loud kettle-like wheeze pierced through her headset. Y/n buried her face in her hands, letting out an annoyed groan as Dream continued laughing loudly.

"That—was the funniest—shit—I've ever seen," he screeched in between laughs. "You just disappeared into the ground."

Y/n couldn't help but laugh a bit too. She had tried not to, but Dream's laugh was so infectious she just couldn't hold it back.

"Just shut up and find that dumb treasure," she chuckled before pressing the Respawn button, spawning right by her bed back at their house as Dream's laughing sounded like he was choking like usual. "And get me back my stuff."

"Okay," he breathed, calming down from his fit before looking over the ravine's edge, seeing Y/n's things at the bottom.

Dream then MLG-watered into the ravine and held back a laugh as he recalled seeing the Y/n fell from a high place notification on his screen seconds prior.
