"Will," called Y/n loudly as she ran towards him to where he stood on the pier.

He turned at the sound of her voice, and a big smile took over his features as he opened his arms for her to run into. She practically crashed into him and hugged him tightly.

"Hey," he greeted with a laugh, looking down at the shorter girl who sported an excited grin as her cheek rested at shoulder.

"Hi," she said, squeezing him a little tighter before letting go. "This is so weird." She took a step back to look around for any signs of George.

"What is?" questioned Wilbur.

She looked back to him. "Seeing you in real life. You're an absolute tower, by the way," she said.

He arched a brow. "Yes, I'm aware."

Y/n continued looking around. "Where is George, anyway?"

They were stood at the start of Brighton Palace Pier, the place where the three of them had agreed to meet up.

"Sleeping, probably. It wouldn't be the first time he missed something important for that reason," said Wilbur with a shrug.

"True," scoffed Y/n amusedly. "So what's the plan for today?"

They hadn't worked out exactly what they were going to spend their day together doing — something they probably should have thought about prior to meeting up.

"I mean, we could stay at the pier and try some rides or something since we're already here," he suggested, "but we could also go to a café and get some coffee first and just, I don't know, chat, I guess."

Y/n nodded, thinking over the options. "I could go for a coffee first," she responded.

"Okay, then coffee it is. I know a good place just by here," said Wilbur just as Y/n spotted George a bit away.

"There he is," she exclaimed, pointing Wilbur in his direction.

George was looking around confusedly as he hadn't seen the two at the pier yet. How he could miss spotting them, Y/n had no idea. Wilbur was incredibly tall, after tall, so he should have been able to see his head stick out from the crowd.

He didn't, however, and a few seconds went by where he walked around aimlessly, trying to spot them.

"Come on," she said to Wilbur, telling him to follow her over to where George now had stopped his walk to look around in search for the two.

"George!" called Y/n as she got a bit closer, and his eyes snapped up to meet hers. She smiled at the sheepish look on his face as he started walking towards them as well.

She started to jump slightly in her steps as she walked up to him and threw her arms around his neck. "Gogyyy," she said, swaying the two of them from side to side in their hug a bit.

"Y/nnn," he mimicked before pulling away so that he and Wilbur could greet each other as well.

"How can a person look so lost in a place they've been to countless times?" asked Y/n, referring to George.

He chuckled, shrugging exaggeratedly with a grimace. "I wasn't lost, I was looking for you guys," he said.

"Maybe if you weren't, what 5'9, then you could have spotted us," joked Wilbur, earning a scoff from George as well as a subtle laugh from Y/n.
