Also, you'll probably need to know how among us works to understand this fully, but seeing as it was one of the most popular games of 2020, I figured pretty much everyone knows how it works.

In this oneshot, Y/n will be playing with some among us streamers and YouTubers that you may or may not know, but whether you do or not won't really affect much.

"Hello? Can you guys hear me?" questioned Y/n as soon as she entered the lobby.

"Yeah, you're good," answered Rae while some of the others were talking in the background.

Y/n realized that Dream hadn't joined yet, and that made her keep a little quiet due to the amount of strangers that filled the lobby.

She had been invited by Dream to fill out the last spot, as one of the people from the crew she would be playing with had needed to leave.

She knew who some of them were. She had watched some of both Sykkuno and Corpse's videos, as well as Toast's, but she had never actually talked to them before.

The only people she knew were Dream, who hadn't even joined yet, and then Pokimane and Valkyrae who she had played Minecraft with once or twice before.

They were going to be playing with proximity chat today, which meant that they would be able to hear each other, but only if they were close enough — a feature Y/n hadn't tried playing with before.

"Wait, Y/n, do you know everyone in this lobby?" asked Rae as Y/n was picking out which color to be out of the remaining few.

She chuckled nervously. "No, not really."

Soon, a couple of claps could be heard from Rae's mic in her attempt to get the attention of the others who were in the midst of a discussion about what Y/n had overheard to be music-related.

"Guys, guys," she said, earning the attention of almost everyone, only a few of the voices continuing for a few seconds.

"Dream has messaged me that his game crashed. So while we're waiting for him, why don't we do our little introductions like we usually do when someone new joins?" she suggested.

"Oh, I didn't even know anyone new had joined, I'm sorry," said a smooth voice, which Y/n had been quick to match to Sykkuno. Some of the others followed his words with similar statements.

"Okay, guys, you know the drill. Line up," ordered Poki, earning a laugh from Y/n who felt as though they didn't have to make such a big deal out of it for her sake. She appreciated it nonetheless.

"Okay, Y/n, you go first," said Rae.

Y/n stepped out of the lineup with an amused smile laced on her lips. "Hi, I'm Y/n. I'm a friend of Dream's," she said shortly, figuring she didn't need to say more.

"Hello, Y/n," they all said unison, much to Y/n's own amusement.

Soon, the next person stepped out of line, the tag above their avatar reading Spedicey.
