Gon Freecess' POV~
Finally I can go sleep and hopefully my roommate will wake me up at dinner time
The bell had finally rung concluding the end of the day. Everybody stood up and began to leave the study hall .
Why is maths so hardddd who in their right mind decided it was a good idea to put fucking letters in numbers that so hella confusing!
I thought to myself as I stuffed by books and papers into my bag. I slung my bag over my opposite shoulder ready to leave when I felt a presence nearby
"Gon is it okay if you just stay for a moment, I would like to talk to you"
No the fuck it isn't! If I don't go right now then all the brownies at the Starbucks school cafe are gonna run out
I smiled innocently at Wing-San
"Oh no that's no problem Sensei!"
"Is everything okay?"
I asked sitting back in my seat
He sat down on the bench next to me
"Actually I just finished grading all the papers from last weeks test"
Oh well I've failed
"And? Did I pass?" I asked still trying to keep up my friendly act
Wing-San shook his head and showed me my score
"Actually you got the lowest grade in the whole class"
"Oh..." I said disappointingly
To be honest I was expecting this but the reality was still painful and demeaning
"Look Gon , how do I tell you this ... in a nice way" Wing-San murmured fidgeting with his light pink shirt
"Basically ever since you started my class you've got nothing but D's and lower"
"If this keeps up well I'm sorry but you're gonna have to drop this major and see if you can find any other available ones"
A wave of shock hit me instantly , I felt my mouth go dry
"But I can't!" I exclaimed desperately
"This is the only major that can benefit me well in the future!"
"Gon I'm sure that there are other subjects that you can apply for if it's not too late-"
"No you don't understand I really need this! If I fail then Aunt Mito and Kite will be so disappointed in me" I pleaded standing from the bench
Wing-San nodded his head
He knew what I meant when I told him that. Thing is Wing-San is very good friends with Aunt Mito and without him I wouldn't have been able to get into this college.
"Aunt Mito was the only one who was there for me after my mom died and dad abandoned me, I basically owe it to her to get a good job that will be able to provide for her"
