I can't really remember getting back to L'manburg although I found myself stood in front of the obsidian wall once more, mind flickering over the things I had to tell Tubbo. I would have to make an impact on him with what I said, lie a little or exaggerate as I preferred to call it.

I saw him standing further down the path still with Fundy and Quackity, who were talking loudly but not enough for me to hear. Throwing their hands about for emphasis. "Tubbo!" I shouted.

"Dream!" He called back, turning his body round and examining the area for me.

"I've come to have a talk with you I guess," I attempted to hide the uncertainty in my voice.

"You wanna talk, do you?"

"Yes."

"I'm down to talk," he finally caught my eye and they all headed towards me, Tubbo taking a strong lead and glancing backwards to his friends. "Hey Dream," his tone kind as he stood in front of me.

I'm sorry.

"What did you do to Tommy?" Quackity questioned me, pushing the others aside.

"He got exiled so he's just out there. He's fine. I gave him some food and resources and stuff. He's with Ghostbur." Fundy's ear twitched.

"So, he's never allowed back anywhere near here?"

"Nope." I was firm with that, turning my attention back to the president. "So, thank you Tubbo. I meant what I said, I appreciate you as a leader and I do respect you and... I will have the walls down as soon as possible." Tubbo questioned me on when that would be and I sighed knowing I would have to ask Punz to do it soon. "Within a week, I'll have the walls down completely.

He nodded, "thank you Dream."

"And also, as a bonus I'll give you all the obsidian as a show of good faith that I'm not gunna do it again."

"Okay thank you." He seemed reassured by my gesture as I continued to explain he would need to leave a chest so I could store it all for him, several chests at that. I hadn't realised in my rage after George's house destruction, quite how high I had built the walls. After he nodded to agree with preparing some chests, an un comfortable silence engulfed us. No one sure of what to say next or whether the conversation was done.

"D-Dream, do you like my suit?" Fundy stepped forward, opening his arms in gesture to the new suit his body adorned, tail swaying in nervousness. I guessed that was his wedding attire.

"Yes, you look very handsome." I claimed, my heart wincing slightly at the comment but a small smile forced upon my face. A spider crawled silently behind him but I slayed it before it reached the group, anything to keep the conversation away from the wedding.

"Thank you Dream, thank you," he softly held my fingers in his hand before I pulled away, the previous silence replaced with awkward tension while the other two whispered. I wasn't here to save Fundy or play this charade with him, I was here to talk to Tubbo.

"Tommy's exiled, he's gone, that's it." Quackity seemed to whisper to himself, almost as if it was a question rather than a statement.

"So we're at peace." I exclaimed. "Y'know what? This is a new day and age so I wanna recognise L'manburg officially now. I recognise L'manburg as its own state and I recognise you Tubbo as the president."

Only until I get it back.

"Thank you Dream," he responded, trying to keep his calm but the surprise seeping through.

"You're welcome and if anyone should try and change that or overthrow government you will have my full backing because I'm in support."

Unless it's me.
