❁ Chapter 9: Back To Cali ❁
YN's P.O.V
It all happened on a mellow, summers day; we organised the wedding to be in the Bahamas since it was always my dream destination and it was absolute paradise to be in. The crystal, white wedding gown I wore flowed down to the floor with a laced tail; it tightened around my waist and left a bare back design. My hair was perfectly curled just the way I envisioned with a translucent, appliqué veil over my face. Justin wanted to add his own idea to my outfit, he said "a princess can never be wedded without her beautiful crown," so he had a crown specially designed with little crystals, I couldn't have been anymore happier. I know my decision to marry Justin is good because he's the only guy in my life who's really treated me like a princess that I'm not at all. He cares for me and I know he'll never cause me harm, that's all I need to be reassured on.
"You ready lovebug?" I heard my mother's voice, I turned round and she stood there with tears in her eyes.
"Mom you're crying? The ceremony hasn't even started," I giggled, she came up to me and placed her hands on my shoulders before looking at me.
"You've grown so much, look at you. You're getting married and you're already such a beautiful lady," she said smiling, I blushed and looked down to my gown. I felt my mom kiss my cheek before she wiped her tears. "You look so stunning sweetie, I'm so proud of you," she said softly, my mom was making me emotional which wasn't the greatest time to do so, I breathed in and gave her a tight hug.
"Thank you mom, I love you,"
"Love you more Lovebug, let's go before we delay people anymore," she said laughing. I nodded and looked once more in the mirror, I know I'm ready to give myself to him. It feels so right. My mom took my arm and walked me to the ceremony. Music began playing, specifically the sweet wedding song - 'Here comes the bride'. I took a deep breath before I saw people stand up respectfully for me to walk down the isle. This was held all on the Bahamas beach and the isle lead to a dock, where at the top of the dock was a gazebo where we'd give our vows and Justin waited nervously for me. Scooter hooked his arm around mine and walked me down half way.
"You'll always be my baby girl, remember that!" Scooter said, I laughed and nodded.
"Yes, I know dad and thank you," I said. I wanted Scooter to walk me halfway through the isle because to me he was my second father. When my dad wasn't around Scooter took me under his wings and guided me all this way and plus he always agrees that I'm the daughter he's never had. You could say Scooter was my musical dad as well since he pushed me to fulfil my musical and performing dream.
My father hooked on my arm and walked me down to the gazebo. If someone told me a few years ago that my dad would come back in my life and walk me down the isle to my future husband I'd think they're insane. But here he is, making up for the time we didn't spend with each other by giving me away to my fiancé.
Justin looked flawless, however he didn't want to be basic with the usual suit and tie that Grooms always wear, he wanted to be himself and his outfit described it all. He wore a navy blue blazer - since blue, white and beige was our theme, a white shirt with rolled sleeves, navy blue, tight jeans that he sagged like usual, white Supra high tops and a fedora hat to make it a little more formal.
"Treat her well," my dad warned to Justin, I gasped and smacked his arm making everyone laugh.
"Don't worry Sir I will...with all my heart," Justin smiled as he took my hand and kissed it gently.
***************
I was shaken from my dazed dream, Justin's hand was on my arm. When I saw his touch I gave an instinctive flinch causing him to remove his hand.
