I just stepped out of the bathroom, ready to start a day. I'm feeling strangely eager today and my smile seems to be firmly engraved in my face. The entire bedroom appears so calm and quiet that my excitement seems to be like a buzz of confused flies. I look into the window, examining the white fog that covered the ground, like a puffy soft cloud, but the morning light trickled through it, and slowly bringing the colors to the world. Eventually, my feet animatedly glide over the polished floor and aim for the kitchen.
When I take a step into the kitchen, strong aroma of pancakes distracted my limbs and somehow my feet tangled itself. I fall on my butt, and gave yelp in shock. Liam's quiet laughter floods the silent air. I huff and stand up, embarrassment tinting my cheeks. With hands I rub my ass to soothe the faint ache, and a bit hesitant turn my eyes up to Liam. His big brown eyes sparkling in amusement, as large smile lightening his face.
"Are you okay Juliet?" He asked with chuckling voice.
I huff once more, though smile creeps on my lips. "I'm fine Liam." I mumbled, coming to his side and kiss his cheek. I briefly glance around, no one else was in here, so I speak to him cheerfully: "Mmm, pancakes! Liam you figured it out didn't you?" Perplexity scrunched his forehead, so I proceed, "how to make a girl happy."
He snorts. His eyes dance; he's enjoying our banter: "I'm expert on how to make girls happy. If you didn't know that already my lady, now you know."
I give him a grin: "Yeah, yeah, I knew that my fair sir." I stretch up on the tips of my toes, peek from one side to another, before look straight into his eyes, as if my words are top secret for only us to know. He slightly leans towards me. I whisper: "Maybe you should lend some of your skills to Harry." We laugh together, like two mischievous kids.
"I think he's lost cost." Liam shakes his head, a look of amusement still playing on his features.
"I think you're right my sir. So it is only on you to keep up the good work and save the honors," I sigh heavily, and pat his shoulder, gazing around: "Do you need any help?"
"Actually yes, help me with those plates. Lads are in the living room." I nod, grabbing seven empty plates and forks, while Liam carrying plate with pancakes and few different toppings.
Luckily I don't trip, fall or drop anything, as I go into the living room, with Liam by my side. There I put everything upon the small table, before draw in deep breath of air in relief. We greet one another, and proceed with breakfast in comfortable silence. Today everything seems more brighter, warmer with splash of cheerfulness, despite the fog that still insisted outside.
"So what's the plan for today?" I questioned while later.
"We leave at 7pm, so till then we can do whatever you like Juliet." My grandfather explained. His wrinkles appear less prominent, and his dark brown eyes shine more brightly - he is happy, and the calmness of the morning air seemed to melt few years off his face.
My eyes widen in surprise as I look at them: "You lads don't have any plans?" My voice was for an octave higher.
"Today we can just chill?" Niall offered, the bruise on his cheek darkened, but his kind blue eyes show no pain or discomfort like it has only yesterday; I can't help but smile at the discovery.
My gaze then walks from face to face, and every time find eyes staring back. One particular pail green with sharp gleam pierced my heart and ignited my cheeks. With an effort I move my eyes from that alluring sight, and lastly make suggestion:"We can have Harry Potter or Lord of the rings marathon!" I eagerly wait for their answer, observing theirs exchanging gazes; some of them shrug their shoulders.
