H/C: hair color
MD/N: (maiden name [for your mother])That day, Y/n's mom did not hesitate to buy the dress as soon as Y/n walked out of the changing room. Y/n took the dress home with her that night and placed it in her closet. She felt uneasy with its presence in her room. She felt as if that dress doesn't belong to her even if it was bought for her. She loves the dress, but the weird feeling inside her said that she doesn't have the right to put it on. This made her realize it's going to be difficult to adjust to her knew life.
Sooner than Y/n hoped, it's thanksgiving day. Her mother texted her that morning to be ready and starving by the time she arrives. Y/n only ate breakfast because she was expecting seven course meals. The only thing she can hope now is to not look like a mess as she ate. Although she dreaded meeting her future husband, she didn't want to embarrass herself. Y/n laid in her bed most of the day to try and get rid of the headache she has from stress. Eventually, she checked the time and decided to get ready.
She took a refreshing shower, making sure she was scrubbed clean, so she smells decent for herself. After scrubbing her body with the scented soaps and washing her (H/L) (H/C) hair, she exited the shower. She dried herself off before doing her usual routine in the bathroom. As her hair was still drying, She began to do her make up since she knew it was going to take her a while especially when she messes up. Her final look consisted of a neutral eye look of browns mixed together, long lashes, dark red lipstick to match the dress, and all other materials she had in her makeup bag. By the time she finished, her hair was dried for the most part. She styled it to her desire, making sure it was a hair style that at least looked fancy enough to satisfy her mother's needs. Who knows what her mother would have done if she didn't put in this much effort.
Once she finished in the bathroom, Y/n went to her closet to get the dress. She stared at it for who-knows-how-long, still debating if she should wear the dress. She shook her head knowing her mother would kill her if she didn't. Y/n slipped on the dress and slipped on some heels afterwards. She grabbed a small purse to put her things in. Her phone then buzzed. She looked at the notification, seeing 'Mom' on her phone. She didn't even have to read the message to know her mother is here. Y/n checked her make up one more time before heading out. Before she could reach the door her father stopped her to take photos. She received another text soon after, and she knew it was her mother. She politely excused herself before going outside to get in the limo.
As soon as she got into the car, her mother sighed of relief, "Oh thank god! I thought I would need to hire someone to help you!"
Y/n made a grumpy pout face, sarcastically replying, "Thanks..."
The rest of the car ride consisted of her mother explaining how Y/n must act in front of her future husband and his family. Her mother said she'll help when it comes to eating dinner, but it should be easy enough to figure out. She talked briefly about the family that both kingdom's have never been associated with each other so this was the opportunity to create a partnership between the two kingdoms. She explained what she knew about the family so far. The family is Japanese, and the parents like to travel often. They love to explore anything that is exotic, and they would go whenever they get the chance. They have a son who's often seen as a trouble maker. After the queen explained the details she knew about the family, they arrived at the restaurant.
Y/n followed her mother inside the restaurant with Kristina escorting them. As soon as the small family was inside, Kristina informed that she'll be in the car keeping an eye out. The lovely hostess led the two to their room, and Y/n jaw practically hit the ground once she entered the room. The room was glorious. The gentle colors of white, beige, and gold lit up the room. The harvest decor made it more fitting for the holiday while adding comfort for those who were to dine in this room. The seats were spread apart slightly as a long table took up most of the space. This place felt like a ballroom to Y/n, but she knew it wasn't a ballroom. In fact, she can't imagine how much bigger a ballroom could be compared to this room. She shook off her curiosity as she examined the details of the fine dining room. The floor was a clear shade of marble while the ceiling was chiseled into a decorative artwork that Y/n could stare at for hours.
