Chapter 7: Overworked.

TORRES' POV:

"Hey babe." I said smiling.
"I'm sorry I fell."
"It's okay, you were overworked. You have a fever but you're gonna be okay with some rest."
"Overworked? That never happened before."
"Yes it did, but you're body was stronger."
"Yeah you're right."
"You scared me out there babe." I whispered kissing her.
"I didn't feel it, it was sudden."
"It's okay. I love you."
"I love you too."

For then a few weeks she worked less and focused on her health, but she wasn't cold, her body adjust.
"Nick?" Ellie asked coming into the bullpen.
"Ellie?"
"Can I- no never mind." She said sadly.
"What's up?" I asked coming towards her desk. I took her arm and turned her around only to find tears in her eyes threatening to fall.  "Hey- wait come with me." I said bringing her on the roof. "Hug?" I asked since she wasn't talking.
She nodded.
I took her in my arms and she started to cry silently.
"What's up babe?"
"I- I don't know..."
"It's okay not to know, I got you."
"I lied... I know what's up..."
"What is it?"
"I'm cold again... And I can't breathe well..."
"Ell-"
"I don't wanna go at the hospital again!... "
"Ellie, it's your health we're talking about... You have to at least go see Palmer." I said hugging her tighter. I was scared but I had to make up her mind.
"I don't wanna go back again..."
"I know babe, it's gonna be okay." I said kissing her hair.
We went to Jimmy's lab.
We were on the elevator when we arrived the autopsy floor.
"I don't- please don't make me..." She whispered.
"Please El... I need you in my life, I want you in my life, but for that you have to be okay."
"Okay- okay." She said wipping her tears. "Let's go babe."
"Hi Jimmy." she said cheerfully.
"Hi Bishop, Torres."
"Can you check Bishop please? She's cold again and she's having trouble breathing."
"Yeah of course, sit down."
He osculted her and:
"I don't see anything, you should go to the-"
"NO!" Ellie screamed running out.
"Let me- Sorry bud." I said running following her.
"It's okay?"
