They hadn't told anyone (except their mums) about their relationship yet. They had decided to tell the boys after rehearsal and they were both a little nervous about it.

Their vocal coach presented a new song for them to sing and both Louis and Niall smiled when they read the lyrics, seeing their names on the sheet. Harry squeezed Louis's knee when he saw it as well.

After they had listened to the song once they tried to sing it. Liam and Harry sang the first verse. Liam started and Harry took over.

Niall got to start the second verse by himself and then he and Zayn sang together.

Louis sang the pre-chorus with Zayn.

They all sang the chorus again.

They sang the chorus one last time while Zayn did runs in a call and response.

For the last part, Harry was the one singing the extra line.

"Great! Take it from the top." Their vocal coach said.

They had all decided to meet up for pizza later on.
"So...are we telling the guys about us tonight?" Louis asked shyly when they were by themselves.

"If you're ready?" Harry asked to make sure.

"I'm ready baby. You?" Louis smiled.

Harry loved when he called him baby.
"Absolutely!"

The boys showed up a half-hour later and the pizza wasn't far behind. After they were full Louis decided it was time to break the news.

"So guys, Harry and I have something to tell you." He started off.

The guys gave them their full attention. Louis took a deep breath to calm his nerves but Harry beat him to it.
"We're boyfriends!" He shouted with an excited grin.

"Dude, we know." Zayn smirked.

"I'm actually a bit offended that it took you this long to tell us. Don't you trust us?" Niall questioned.

Harry and Louis exchanged a confused look.
"We haven't been together that long." Louis said.

"I mean, the X-factor was a while back mate." Liam chuckled.

"We weren't together then. Like a month or so." Harry explained.

"Oh? Really?" Liam questioned and looked surprised and Niall and Zayn stared at them as well.

"Yeah." Louis confirmed.

"In that case, you were just oblivious. Congratulations for finally realizing what we all already knew." Niall grinned.

"Ehm, thanks?" Harry chuckled.

"Yeah, I'm happy for you guys." Liam smiled.

"Me too." Zayn said.

"Thanks, guys, you're the best!" Louis beamed.

"Have you told Simon?" Liam asked.

"Hell no!" Louis growled and Harry furrowed his eyebrows.

"Why not? I mean, not right now but later?" He asked.

Louis took his hand.
"We shouldn't tell him Haz. I'm not gonna lie. If he asks us I'm gonna stand up for us. I never told any of you this but back in the X-factor he had a one-on-one meeting with me and told me that he wouldn't have any gays in his band and if I liked you Harry I should just forget about it."

Harry gasped and stared at him in shock.
"Why haven't you told me this until now?"

"I wanted to protect you and I didn't think you felt the same way about me love. Simon can't decide who I'm gonna love but he can make our lives miserable. I'm sorry."

Harry's eyes filled up with tears for two reasons. The fact that Louis just said that he loved him for the first time and the situation with Simon and Syco.

"This is horrible! Why did you sign the contract Louis?" Niall asked.

"I want to be in this band and as I said, I didn't think Harry felt the same way about me." Louis said with a sigh.

"We'll find a way." Zayn promised.

"Yeah, there's nothing they can do about it anyway." Niall said.

"I love you." Harry said softly and gazed into Louis's eyes.

Louis smiled happily and reached out a hand to caress Harry's cheek.
"I love you too baby."
