secret sister

chapter 7

Dave came back from the backyard and saw Jaime near the hall that conects the kitchen and living room so he ran next to me and gave me the 'now or never' look  and i gave that look to my mom

"Jaime, don't be rude say 'Hello'" she said, and his face went red from emberacement that his mom told him to do something, when his dad came in and stood next to his wife, and before anyone could say anything

"Hey, mama Preciado" said Mike and sat down

"Mike behave sorry mama Preciado" said Vic and sat down next to his brother the last one was Tony, shy Tony he went and hugged my mom "Hi Mrs. Preciado" he said and sat down with his friends

"Hello, I'm Jaime this is..." he started but didn't finish

"VIc "Pablo", Mike "Whiskey- Hands", and Tony "Turtle"" i finished and blushed while looking at the ground when Dave started to laugh, and he tried to stop

"well i think someone's a fan" murmmerd Mike, Vic shot him a warning look

"well that was a good laugh anyways I'm Dave andf this is my best friend Abi" said Dave, and gave mom a look that ment 'do it now or she will leave before you get the chance'

"Jaime, i think its best if you sit down" she said and he did, Mike was about to say something but when he saw how serious this conversation will be probably hard for Jaime so they didn't move, while Dave went to move next to me for incase anything that happened

"Jaime, do you remember when you were little that i told you that you will soon have a little sister?" she asked

"yeah and then you gave birth, but she didn't make it" he said, mama started to cry and papa moved next to her

"mijo she didn't die, but we couldn't afford to have two children and that beautiful girl over there is your baby sister" finished papa, the expression on Jaime's face held so much rage that when he got up and slam his fits into the table that it almost crack, Dave pulled me behind him "stay back" he said

"Jaime i know you're mad, but..." mama didn't get to finish

"YOU THINK I'M MAD, HOW COULD YOU DO THAT TO ME YOU GUYS KNEW HOW I WANTED A LITTLE SISTER, HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME, TO US?" he yelled and that made me scream a bit and i coverd my ears i knew a panic attack might happen if anyone screamed

"please don't scream again anyone...breath Abi, they won't hurt you i won't let them" said Dave

"Cole...he.." i tried

"he isn't Cole, come on when does Jaime ever do anything like that?" asked Dave

"promise" i asked a little shaken up

"promise" he said, everyone was looking at me, that helped me but not by much

"Vic do something you use to get panic attacks" said Mike, Vic was about to stand up when Tony stood up and walked over me Dave moved away from me

"breath, in and out you can do it" said Tony "whose her favorite"

I know Dave pointed at Tony because he started to hug me and kissed my cheeck thats when i stopped breathing i was so shocked that he did that my face went tomato red, then i heard Dave's laugh

"shut up" i mummble, mama came infront of me and grabbed my face

"mija are you ok?" she asked

"yeah im fine, sorry its just that i hate comotion thats all" i said, and smiled

"who's Cole?" asked Jaime, i didn't say anything because i didn't want them to know

"Cole was a friend who commited suicide because his parents were always fighting" i said, that was always the cover story

"if you say so" said Mike, but i knew that only my parents believed me

"anyways i can't do this im out" said Jaime and left, Mike and Vic gave an apoligetic look and went after him

:don't worry about it he'll come around, why don't you give me his number so i can give it to him" said Tony, i guess it would be alright

"sure, why not" i said and gave it to him, after he said goodbye to everyone he lef. After an hour Dave and i decided to leave, but we promised to keep in touch by the time we got home it was late and both have jobs but i couldn't fall asleep i hope Jaime is alright and that he'll message me soon but for now i'll have to wait.
