~Betty's POV~

We waited for that man and Jughead to go in the halls, as they turn the corner i sharply say

"Who the hell is that?" I asked

"FP Jones, Jugheads dad" Toni said

Is he drunk? He looks so bad" I asked

"He is an alcoholic" Sweet Pea said looking down

"Oh..poor Jughead" I said frowning

"I'm gonna go to the bathroom.." I lied as I got up to ease drop behind the corner

"You need to grow a brain for starters, and get some balls to man up." I heard FP say

"Shut the hell up dad, you can't be any better of a man than me" Jughead said

"You son of a-" I heard FP say, as I heard a slam, and the noise of a body dropping

"Get up before someone sees you on the floor, and come home with a better attitude" I heard him say as he walked off

I walked over to see Jughead on the floor sitting down

"Hey..you alright..?" I sat next to him

"Fine." He said back, looking away from me

"I heard..your dad and what he said.." I said

"So you ease drop?" He said looking back at me

"I was on my way to the bathroom, but are you hurt?" I said

"I'm fine, as I said. I'm going to get ready for my next class." He said getting up and walking off

"Hey." I heard Toni behind me

"Oh hey!" I said smiling

"Jughead isn't much of a best friends kind of guy. He finds someone to hang with and sticks with just them. He won't come clean to you about his dad."

"I just wanted to make sure he was okay Toni" I said chuckling

"If you say so" she said walking off with fangs and sweet pea

It was later after school, I was still at school doing homework, since home isn't so quiet, the halls and the school were dark, no lights on.

I didn't think much of it until I heard the water running in the nurses office.

"Hello?" I said

No response

"Who's there?!" I said as I got my pepper spray out going to the nurses office, I ran in an turned the light on and aimed my spray

"Woah, put the spray down Cooper" Jughead said

"Jughead?! What are you doing here, are you bleeding?!" I put the spray up

"It's nothing, I got it"

"That doesn't look like "nothing" let me help you"I walked over

"I've got it Betty"

"Jughead. Let me help you before it gets worse." I said firmly

He rolled his eyes, as he said "fine"

"You need to show me the cut"

"Alright.." he lifted his shirt up a little and showed me a deep cut

My eyes widened as I wet it with a wash cloth, and fixed it up

"Thank you" he said , looking in my eyes

"Anytime, although I hope this is the last" I laughed

"Me too.." he looked down

"Something wrong?" I said as he looked back up at me

"I...no..I should get going.." he said getting off the cabinet

"Jug" I said grabbing his hand before we walked off

"Yeah?" He said looking down at our hands

"I'm here if you need to talk to anyone" I said smiling

"Alright, thank you" he said walking out
