~Betty's POV~
I go to pops to see Jughead eating alone, this was my chance.
"Hey Jug!" I said sitting across from him
"Hey...?" He said back
"So I wanted to say, I'm sorry. For rejecting you. And I do like you, a lot. And if you like me, let's make it happen" I smiled
"Um..Betty..I don't like you.." Jughead said looking at me crossing his arms
"What? Why, literally two weeks ago you did, what changed?" I said frowning
"I don't know maybe the fact your trying to get in my home life, took it publicly, and threatened to call social services?" He said
"It's not my fault I'm trying to help you get rid of the southside trash in your life."
"Betty, the southside IS my life, born, raised, you can't make me different just to date me or even be my friend."
"Jughead. The southside is horrible, you know that. You have a horrible family, lifestyle, and friends. You came to the northside, it's time you act like it." I said firmly
"I can help you Juggy" I said grabbing his hand
"I don't want your help, you said we're just friends, but friends don't force eachother to be someone there not, so get the hint Betty"
"Jughead..I'm sorry, I have control issues..I'll get better"
He rolls his eyes
"I'll prove it. Come to my birthday party next weekend, everyone's going to be there. It's at Cheryl's house."
"Fine, this is your last chance Cooper."
I got back to my house, went to my room and closed the door.
He doesn't like me anymore? I don't get why.
Then my mind clicked. He met Archie after I left pops, they were dancing in his room, and all of a sudden he doesn't like me...are they 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫?!
I need more proof.
