~Jughead's POV~

I went to my locker, as Toni, fangs and sweet pea went to theirs. Out of no where, Cheryl closed my locker as Veronica, and Josie are beside her.

"We need to talk" Cheryl said

"No, no we don't, Cheryl" I said about to walk off

"Yes, we do need to talk, talk about why you thought it was a good idea for you and your serpent friends to not sit with us." Veronica said

"Because I'm not very social today." I said

"Let's get this straight, are you mad at Archie?" Cheryl asked

"No, I'm just doing what his mom said, I'm staying away.." I said looking down

"Well..you need to stop doing what a old red headed lady says, and follow your heart" Veronica said

I nodded as I went to Archie at his locker.

"Hey, Jug" he said

"I'm sorry, for not talking to you all day. And I'm not mad at you..I'm just trying to not have your mom find out about us not staying our distance" I said

"It's alright, Juggy." He said hugging me

^after school, at the house^

"ARCHIE." Mrs. Andrews yelled as she shoved her phone in Archie's face.

"I told you to stay distant from him, and you think I wouldn't find out that you hugged in school?" She said

"How did you-"

"Reggie sent me this. And Archie, Jughead. Your done. I called the sheriff and he said he will be on his way to clear out ALL of the Southside teens in this town, and send them back to there trash can town." She said dragging me outside.

"Mom! No stop!" Archie said

"NO. You are done seeing this serpent." She said as sheriff Keller pulled up in his cop car, with Fangs, Sweet Pea, and Toni in the back.

"Here he is, Sheriff Keller." She said as he grabbed me

"Jughead" Archie said as he ran to me, hugging me

"I love you, Archie" I said

"I..I love you too.." he said tearing up as I got in the car. Sheriff Keller drove off.

~Archie's POV ~

"Why..why would you do that..Mom.." I said turning around

"Because-"

"NO. You don't get it do you...Jughead isn't like..any of them..mom. He almost died..for me..saved me, he's done so much. For me. And you took him away."

"It's not like he will be alone."

"Yes mom, he will. He doesn't have a family. He has nobody..I was all he had left."

"Archie. There are plenty of guys in the world."

"There are non like him..mom.."

"Archie I did it to protect you."

"He never hurt me..the only one who is hurting right now is YOU." I said going inside and slamming my door.

^later that night^

"Archie.." my mom said walking in and sitting on the end of my bed

"I'm sorry, for wanting to protect you. But as your mom it's my job. And I'll make it up to you, your birthday is coming up, is there something you want?"

"No." I said

"I see how it is." She said getting up and walked out of my room.

I looked at my nightstand and saw the photo of me and Jughead, as I grabbed it. I started to cry as I hugged it.

^next day^

I walked into school looking around thinking I was going to see Jughead. But didn't. I walked out of school walking the the border of the Northside to the Southside. I see guards with guns, standing there

"Can I come through" I asked

"You a southsider?" The guard asked

"Yes...?" I said

"Uh huh, nice try. But Sheriff Keller said only four SouthSiders were on the northside beat it kid" he said as I was walking back

I turned back around seeing the serpents by a fire, seeing what I think is Jughead sitting on the ground covering his face.

I sighed as I walked back to the town.
