"Well if it isn't Billie Eilish..."

"The one and only."

"You know what's crazy, I never thought I'd see your ass again after you fled Brooklyn." Selene cracked a smile, staring down at her old friend as she set a short glass in between them.

She hadn't seen the girl in over five years and as much as she looked the same, she looked completely different and Selene wasn't the type of person to deny someone's attractiveness:

There were a lot of people in this world who were conventionally attractive or only good-looking because they tried, and then there were people like Billie.

People who didn't have to try to look good nor did they have that normal type of attractiveness; there was always something else that lured others into those kinds of people. Of course, Selene didn't know what it was, but what she did know was that Billie was out-of-this-world attractive.

The kind of attractive that gets away with things because of their beauty.

Billie chuckled, looking down for a moment to contain her smile before bringing her attention back to the girl from her past: a part of her remembering what things used to be like. "Well I'm here," Billie threw her hands up.

Selene kept her embarrassingly big smile. "What do you need?"

"Hennessy, one ice cube please, and thank you."

"Damn, you must be going through it, huh?" Selene joked before swiveling around to grab the bottle and back around again, setting it down with a clink from the glass and shoveling a singular ice cube from the tray to the side of her.

"Nah, just tryna have a good time."

Selene nodded, pouring the dark alcohol into the glass.

"You come here with anyone?"

"Yeah, my homeboy, his girlfriend, and her best friend."

Billie was, of course, telling the truth, but she couldn't help the flirty undertone with every word she spoke and it didn't help that she failed to mention she was in a "situationship" with said friend.

But then again, did it matter?

Selene hummed, taking in all of Billie's presence. There was nothing better than seeing someone you used to know all over again. Billie picked up the heavy glass, sipping on the strong beverage. She didn't know how to feel about seeing her ex-girlfriend at the moment but she wasn't opposed to some conversation.
