I watched as she looked under her lashes, toward me. Her eyes flickered back down at her book when she realized I was still looking.
Minutes later, they flickered back up.
I smirked.
She huffed and sat up with her knees brought to her stomach and she placed the book on her knees, so her face was now blocked off by the book. I scowled, but kept my gaze steady on her.
It stayed quiet as she kept reading. I grabbed my phone from off the couch beside me and slid up for the camera app. I waited.
Then, I felt myself smile as she slowly lowered the book and discreetly peeked her eyes over.
*click*
She completely dropped the book in her lap as she glared at me, "I really hate you."
