She was so special.
Here we sat at the dinner table. She was so focused on her food, she didn't even notice I wasn't eating mine. My chin rested in the palm of my hand as I watched her slowly eat.
She had a habit of having to look at her food when eating, so I always took this time to just admire her while still participating in conversation. She hated it.
When she went to put food in her mouth, she'd open her mouth wide like how a baby would when you're feeding them applesauce. Adorable.
I pulled out my phone and brought up the camera app. After turning it on silent and making sure the flash was off, I slowly brought it up. She was in the middle of going to insert another spoonful when I called out her name.
"Beautiful," I called. She looked up.
