"Do you ever feel like I take you for granted?" I asked, making her look up.
The cashier raises her eyebrows intrigued but keeps ringing the items up and bagging them.
"No," she said without hesitation as she continued loading groceries onto the belt.
"Are you just saying that?"
She chuckled, "You're ridiculous, Niall."
"What do you mean?"
"You tell me how much you love me every single day, randomly bring me home gifts, tell me I'm beautiful so often people must think I'm some undercover goddess, and then you have the nerve to ask me such a crazy question."
I rubbed at both her shoulders, "You deserve unconditional love."
She turned her head back some to give me a small peck before continuing with groceries, "That's why I have you."
The cashier sighed heavily to herself, "You guys are goals."
