Chapter 12 - First Kisses

Astrid P.O.V:

Now we had three stones. The stone of empathy, the stone of intelligence and the stone of bravery. This made us more powerful and also, in much more danger to the evil around us. We need to get the fourth stone as soon as possible - only then can we stop the Cursed Demon.While I was in the abyss of my thoughts, i felt someone come up to me. I didn't have to tun to relize who it was.

''Little Dove, can we talk?'' I rolled my eyes and turned around and noticed that Neptune and Dexter weren't there. That's weird, I wonder where they went?

I look up at him and say, ''Go on then. Speak. I'm listening.''

''Can we go, um somewhere private?'' Draven asks.

''No. there's no one here, even if there is I'm staying here, say what you want to say here.'' I stubbornly respond.

''Alright then, I'm sorry. I didn't mean what I said, I was so ridiculous and so selfish and always pointing out your mistakes-''

'' It's fine.''

'' I'm sorry please- wait what?''

''Yeah, I forgive you, Besides I was acting quite rash and a bit annoying.So I'm sorry too.'' I say while touching the back of my neck and giving a short chuckle.

'' it's okay. Well, friends?'' I stared at him. he did not just say friends. Please don't tell me I just got friend zoned.

'' F-Friends.'' I smiled at him. Trying to ignore the unfamiliar and weird feeling in my chest.

'' Okay! so everything is chill pill and me and Dexter forgive you- LET'S KEEP MOVING PEOPLE!'' Neptune says coming out from I don't even know where they where, With Dexter behind her.

'' you were listening to us, the whole time, weren't you?'' I look at her accusingly.

'' Oh Well.'' she looks at me sheepishly, as I just rolls my eyes. '' Can we please keep waking or i'm going to drop on the floor and sleep there for 100 years.''

'' I'll carry you.'' Dexter says to her.

'' no thanks, me good.'' and she proceeds to Naruto, yes Naruto run straight to god know where.

'' Let's keep walking.'' Draven says.

NIGHTTIME.

finally we decide to camp just outside a village. We thought if be best to go in the morning so we wouldn't attract any kinds of wrong attention in the middle of the night.

As usual, I couldn't sleep. At All, So I went outside for some fresh air. No thoughts, just peaceful silence.

''Couldn't sleep?''

i turned around to see Draven. I smiled at him and shook my head, then looking back at the night sky.

'' I Need to talk to you, and I couldn't do it in front of the others.'' I look at him questioningly. What was so important that he to talk about it to me alone?

'' what is it?''

'' I know how you feel. and I felt like an utter jerk that I didn't tell you.'' This boy is talking in riddles. What is he on about?

'' I'm confused. I don't get you.'' He gave me a small smile and wrapped his arms around me so I was covered by him. 

'' i know how it feels to always be in the shadows. Never given the love you so badly earned for. Always being told that 'why can't you be like your other siblings.'  'look at them. So smart. Perfect at everything. Sometime you think that if I disappeared from the world or killed myself- No one would notice.'' He gave me a bitter smile while I looked at him worriedly.

''My poor Raven-'' I slapped a hand across My mouth. My stupid dumb mouth. He gave my a huge smile.

'' Call me that Little dove. I like it.'' I was pretty sure that my face was red as tomato but thanks to the night I was glad he couldn't see. '' I'm glad that out of all the women I've met o ever known, that you are the one that has the key to my heart. The one that I know that each breath I take is for you. I'm glad I've fallen for you Little dove. For I am completely and utterly at my knees,  begging you, please accept my love, Little dove.''

He did not just declare his love to me. That cannot be a declaration of love. So I did something that well, only an idiot like me can do.

'' Can I kiss you?''

Neptune's P.O.V (Two hours earlier)

I was pretty sure that I was super far away from everyone- really far from where we staying. I just need the peace and quiet. I finally came across a water stream. With a sigh, i finally sat down. Were getting so close to finding that one last gem- then we can finally kill that bastard of a demon and go home. Although I'm not sure if we're going to go back to earth. Why? It's quite obvious. I know for a fact that Az has fallen for Draven- the same goes to him.

As for me, I'm head over heels for a guy I've only met recently. I took out another sigh. there is so much going on in my life. I wanted an adventure, And I've finally got one. But why am I still scared that something bad is going to happen? Whenever I get this feeling of happiness, something bad will be right around the corner. I can never be happy. I sighed again.

'' whats with all the sighing, starlight?'' I jumped at the sound as i saw Dexter sitting next to me.

'' N-Nothing.'' it was sill awkward between us - after that  incident.

'' Mhm, sure.'' 

'' For real, i was just thinking.'' He looked at me with wide eyes.

'' You? thinking? what has the world come to be? Who are you and what have you done with starlight.'' I elbowed him, which received and ''Ow! What was that for?''

'' you being annoying. As usual.''

'' Yeah and you love me for that.'' I chocked on air.

'' W-What did you just say?'' I looked at him in shock.

'' That you love me. Besides of you didn't like me, you wouldn't have tried to kiss me.''

'' Uh excuse you, You were the one who leaned in, not the other way around.''

'' Fine, be stubborn, but don't try kissing me when I say that you look utterly stunning and I just really want to kis-''

I couldn't help it.

I kissed him.
