Chapter 14 - The Execution

Neptune's P.O.V

'' Sorry, Sir. Unfortunately we have to close down since this is a public execution.'' Yeah, they live in the 18th Century.  We all go out and a guard announces,

'' There is still an hour left before Mr Lucas Marc is executed, Please alert the other villagers to come to the town square as soon as possible. Thank you.''

With all the commotion I quickly grabbed Draven by the collar and start running. ''wha-''

''Hurry up! Before anyone notices us. Quickly you idiot!'' I tell him.

'' Okay, You crazy women-can you please tell me what the hell is going on?'' 

'' no time for that, we only have one hour, so i'll just summaries it up- we're finding Mr Lucas Marc And seeing if he deserves it.''

'' At first I used to think that you were just crazy like that, but today you proved that you need serious help.'' I gave him a cold glare.

'' You can transform into a crow-''

'' Raven.''

'' -Yeah whatever, that, help me find their house.'' He rolled is eyes, and when I realized that we were quite far from the village, I finally stop and give Draven a nod. '' Go, come quickly. Okay?'' He nods and transforms in to a crow- sorry, raven. 

A couple of minutes I see the raven again, and he within seconds an annoying human being was standing in front of me. Yep, Draven. He gives me a big grin and says,

'' Found it, It's not actually that far. I'll take you.'' We start running while I followed his lead. Finally, We come across a small, cosy little cottage. In front of the door is an elderly women, who i'll guess was Mr Lucas's mother- and in front of her was and a young man, probably in his early twenties, And he was trying to stop the old lady crying, wiping his tears. I couldn't take it anymore and I pushed Draven and bowed at them. Mr Lucas gave me a really cold glare. If this was any other day, He would've had no eyes left by now, But since this was not, I ignored it. I gave him a small smile.

'' Hello, I am Tune, Please don't worry, I've come in peace. I just want to help you, And in return I ask for nothing. Absolutely nothing.'' Lucas and his mother stared at me, not believing me at all.

'' Your lying.'' Lucas says with a very cold tone. I shake my head, I gave him a pleading look.

'' I promise you, I'm not, I just want to help you and you have got to agree with me, we don't have that long and i'm your one shot.'' H e took a deep breath.

'' What do you suggest?''

'' I'll swap place with you.'' Lucas looked at me with wide yes, and Draven, who I had forgotten who was even there, shrieked.

'' Are you crazy?! Dex will kill me! No, I should've never agreed to this.'' He grabbed my elbow,''C'mon we're going.'' I pull my elbow from his.

'' please Mr Lucas, this is the only way. You have got to trust me.''

'' What if you get executed? what if something happens to you- I'll be in forever guilt.'' I shook my head.

'' No, you wont I know your falsely accused, But you got to trust me.'' He sighed in defeat.

'' Alright.'' I smiled in victory.

''This is s wrong.'' Draven says from behind me. I ignored him.

'' Can i your hand quickly?'' He looked at me confusingly. '' just do it , please.'' He hesitantly gives me his hand- the minute I grabbed it I close my eyes and try to concentrate- I imagines his height and having his blonde hair, his bulky build. Everything. I heard a sudden gasp, I opened my eyes and smiled knowing it had worked. I had managed to shape shift into Mr Lucas Marc.

'' Incredible.'' He whispered. I gave him a timid smile. until I realized that the guards would be here soon.

'' We don't have long, so please Mr Lucas, Hide, Before the guards come.'' With a nod he retrieves into the house. I didn't eve have a second to comprehend what had happened before I realized that his mother was hugging me.

'' Thank you dear child, You indeed are a blessing.'' I give a small pat, since, I- well it was awkward, fro me at least, We pull apart and i give a her a smile. I turn to Draven and says.

'' you hide too, or at least transform in to the crow, alright''

'' It's a raven you crazy hag, also you do realize i'm going to die, once Dexter finds out?'' I gave him sly smirk.

'' Feathers, That's the point.'' He looked at me as if I was one crazy women, Which I probably was due to all of this. ''now shoo, before you get killed by the guards.''

'' i'm gonna get killed either way.'' He mumbled as he transformed. I snort. I sat by the bench near the cottage and soon later The guards finally came.

''We are here to take Mr Lucas Marc to his execution.'' One of the guards announced. I got up with a huff and tried to make my voice as manly as possible and say,

''Take me there.'' Two guards grabbed m by each arm and took me to god knows where and put a black bag over my face. Just...

Absolutely bloody wonderful.

Finally I realize that we're here, To the place where the execute people, I could hear the knives sharpening. I could hear the people's voices, their whispers, But I tried to block out all of them, And failed.

'' We are here, to execute Mr Lucas Marc, who has been accused of starting a riot against our Mayor- And accused our Mayor of standing with the one who is Cursed- He shall be beheaded!'' Just before They put my head on the board, I felt an adrenaline, a voice, Calling me, telling me to give her the power. I obeyed. 

The power was all with me, I was strong, powerful, No source is the entire world could kill me. I push the two waste of humans and ripped the bad of of me, By now I knew that I was no longer Lucas, I was the knight-

The knight if darkness. I gracefully took each step and with a wave of my hand, the board was crushed, I took a deep breath and looked at all the villagers and say,

'' How dare you all accuse a man- a man who no ill intention of such ridiculous thing. HOW DARE YOU? I shall curse every single one of you, I shall curse this village, no crops, no life, everything shall be gone.'' I looked and saw that Draven had come with Lucas. I smirked. I point at them.

''That man- If anyone harms Him, They shall face my wrath, Take this as your first and last warning.'' With that, I felt her leave my body, my mind. I dropped to the floor and and took a deep breaths, trying to regulate my breathing.

Quickly Dexter comes up to me and helped me sand up, I looked around the villages, with smiles on every single one of them, Suddenly someone in the crowd say,

'' The Knight of Darkness is here! Long Live the Queen! Long Live the Knight!''

'' Long Live the Knight! Long live The Queen!'' I gave her smile. But then something shiny caught my eye. I widened my yes and quickly grab it. 

Finally, the last stone.

The Stone of Ambition.
