Third Person's POV
It was storming outside and there were people running in and out of the drop-ship. Julia wasn't paying any attention though. Her focus was entirely on Finn Collins.
He was laying on a table, unconscious. Clarke had wrapped a cloth around the spot where the dagger was sticking out of him.
Julia was sitting on a chair next to him, holding his hand. She wanted to be there for him but she didn't have medical knowledge like Clarke or mechanical knowledge like Raven.
"This is Raven Reyes calling Ark Station. Please come in. Can anyone hear me?" Raven spoke, trying to reach Ark Station. "You sure you have the right frequency?" A girl standing next to Raven questioned. "Yeah, I'm sure." Raven snapped.
"Raven? You can do this. Okay?" Clarke told her as she walked over to her. Then she walked over to Finn as Raven went back to trying to contact Ark Station.
Clarke unwrapped the cloth around the dagger and replaced it with a clean one. "Is there anything I can do to help?" Julia asked, longing to be able to be useful to help save her friend.
Clarke shook her head. "Without being able to contact my mom on the Ark, there's not much even I can do."
Julia sighed and just looked over at Finn's face. "Please don't die." Julia whispered. Finn was one of her closest friends.
Because he was her cellmate, they had spent hours upon hours talking to each other. There wasn't much else to do in the cells and so they just shared their thoughts and life-stories. Because of that, Julia felt like she had known him all her life.
And she felt so guilty. She knew what her sister said, that it wasn't her fault, but Julia didn't believe that. Bellamy was right. If she hadn't been out looking for Murphy they wouldn't have gotten captured and Finn wouldn't have gotten stabbed. It was her fault.
"This is a restricted channel. Who is this? Please identify yourself." A new voice on the radio broke Julia out of her thoughts. Both Clarke and Julia rushed over to the radio as many other people leaned in closer to the situation.
"This is Raven Reyes. I'm from Mecha Station. I'm transmitting from the ground. The hundred are alive. Please, please you need to get Dr. Abby Griffin. Dr. Abby Griffin. Now!" Raven spoke into the radio.
"Hang on, Raven. We're trying to boost your signal." The man on the other end spoke and it was quiet for a few moments before a woman's voice replaced his.
"Raven. Are you there?" The woman – Abby Griffin – asked. Clarke took the radio from Raven. "Mom. Mom, it's me." Julia jogged back over to Finn and stood next to his head.
"Raven got through to the Ark. She's just as smart as you always told me. And now Clarke's going to be able to help you." Julia spoke quietly to Finn. She knew he was unconscious but she felt she should update him anyway.
"Mom, I need your help. One of our people was stabbed by a grounder." Clarke told her.
"Clarke, this is the Chancellor. Are you saying there are survivors on the ground?" Chancellor Jaha asked her.
"Yes. The Earth is survivable. We're not alone. Mom, he's dying. The knife's still in his chest." Clarke told her.
"Clarke, is my son with you?" Chancellor Jaha questioned and Clarke had to pause for a moment before answering. "I'm so sorry. Wells is – Wells is dead."
