The Sky's the Limit

Just as Damion had written at that point is where everything had changed. The CEO had noticed all of Damion's work and was surprised by all the progress he made and how he was making the company even better. Damion had been promoted and he was promised another promotion if he was able to keep improving the company.

Since Damion had been promoted he know had a wider range of things he could do to improve the companies sales and even its own problems inside the company. 

He started by making more advertisements that would focus on bringing in a certain set of costumers. But he had to deal with the meeting that would let him make this ad first. He had to convince his higher ups that this change would benefit them. He created charts and predictions to support his claim. He also revised how this change also helped other companies that are currently doing better than this company. With all the information he had gathered the higher ups had no choice but to accept his propositions. He had also added that the workers seemed to be feeling down lately and that it would increase the likeliness that they'd get sick. The higher ups said Damion could do whatever he wanted to raise the spirits of the employees.

Damion: "All right everyone we will be doing campaigns to support our claims and also blah blah blah blah. All right that's all. I would also like to mention that if we do good we will be holding a celebration fully covered by the company to celebrate our accomplishment. So work hard everyone and don't forget that we need this done in two months.

Damion had successfully cheer up the employees. Even if it was a little. 

[Damion's Notebook]

I haven't written on this notebook in some time. I'm doing so much better than I was before. I was finally promoted and not to mention if this project goes well it's highly likely that I'll be seeing a promotion again. My spirits are high yet I still worry for your health. I hope you're doing well. I'll try contacting you later I promise right know I have a lot of work ahead of me and it won't get itself done.

[Two Months Later]

Damion: "Alright everyone it seems like we did a spectacular job. We will be holding a celebration in five days I'd like all of you to come and connect with each other while you're there make sure to have fun you all deserve it. Also there will be a vote to see where we will be celebrating make sure you vote if you don't like a certain place. That's all everyone great job out there keep up the great work."

With that stress of his back Damion would know be able to relax a bit. He had a bit of free time and decided it was time to contact Josh.

[Phone call]

Damion: "Hey, how are tings?" He says nervously.

Josh: "They're good, how's work I haven't heard from you since you left?" He says sounding happy to hear his dad's voice after so long.

Damion: "Yeah sorry about that I've been pretty busy son. I've finally gotten some time to relax. I'm pretty sure you'll be hearing from me a lot more often now" He says happy to finally hear his son's voice.

Josh: "That great to hear dad! Mom misses you a lot so do I" He says with a hint of sadness in his voice.

Damion: "I miss you two too. How is your mother?" he ask with a concerned voice.

Josh: "She hasn't gotten any better. The doctors say that she might never wake up if it continues to stay the same" He says with a sad voice.

Damion: "And how are you doing? How is school? Any girlfriends yet haha." He says being curious.

Josh: "Dad!" He says embarrassed.

Damion: "haha. What wrong I wanna know if my son's picking up those girls with your looks" He says laughing.

Josh: "No, I haven't I've been focusing on classes. I wanna help you and mom." He says in a serious tone.

Damion: "Thanks buddy. But make sure to make a few friends." He says being proud of Josh.

Josh: "Alright dad I will. It's good to hear your voice again." He says smiling

Damion: "And it was good to hear your voice too. Hey buddy I got to go I'll try to call more often from now on. Keep being strong. I'm proud of you." He says smiling.

Josh: "Bye dad. I miss you" He says before Damion hangs up.

[End of Call]

Damion: "My son is all grown up already." He says shedding a tear.
