A Business Man's Reason for Working Tirelessly

Years of Healing

After their last conversation Josh had applied for a collage near their home and started attending classes. Meanwhile Damion had been spending his time talking and taking care for Levi.

Damion: "So much happened. I haven't told you much of it." He said looking at her sleeping "Alright so once I left I had rented a crappy hotel room. It was awful mold everywhere. I'm pretty sure someone had died in that room." He said laughing "I applied for jobs and once I got hired I worked super hard like super duper hard. Pretty sure I was going to die to be honest. But I didn't." He says squeezing her hand between his "I had gotten a promotion and was able to start taking a little bit care of myself. Not much but still better than before. This is when the bills where getting paid." He said looking at all the equipment. "After the promotion I kept working hard and harder until I got another promotion. This is where everything started going good." He said smiling "I rented a better apartment and was starting to get healthy again. I could also know send a bit of extra money to Josh." He said looking out the door. "We have a wonderful son honey" He says giving her a kiss "Anyways after this I was getting noticed by my boss and I also started getting more promotions. I was friendly with everyone and everyone seemed to like me that I was actually a role model. Haha still can't believe it me a good role model??" He says laughing. "Well I was so good the CEO had made me his son basically. He literally called me his son" He said laughing. "Well he was old and entrusted the company to me. That one still feels kind of unbelievable." He says staring into the distance. "Then something dumb happened. People tried to scam me, but instead they actually made me more money." He said laughing and facepalming. "I was also being chased by dudes and girls for my money. Even a celebrity tried to seduce me." He said laughing. "But I never let them win me. I don't need any of them since I still have you. And your the best wife anyone could ask for." He says giving her a kiss on the lips. "Well after that I kept doing business stuff. Then I got the news about your health and at that point I went into full on business man mode. I made deals I expanded and did other boring stuff and eventually I could make money by doing nothing. So now I'm able to spend my time with you." He says smiling at her. 

Damion kept taking care of Levi and he did so for five long years. After those five years something happened.

Damion: "It's already been five years since I've come back and 16 years since you've been in a coma. I still remember the day you went in to a coma. I cried so much. I wonder If you woke up would I cry more then I did back then?" He says looking at her "But I still don't know if you'll ever really wake up." He says putting his head down on top of her and closing his eyes.

???: "Hey sleepy head" ??? says patting Damion's head

Damion: "Huh?" he says getting up and looking around until he sees it.

Damion: "Honey?" he says tears already starting to pour down.

Levi: "Yeah it me." She says smiling at him still patting his head.

Damion: "Oh my good ness. I-i-i-i love you." he says hugging her for real for the first time in 16 years. 

Levi: "You baby crier" She says hugging him back and crying. "I heard everything. You worked so hard. It must've been tough." She says now wailing her eyes out.

Damion: "Yeah it was hard but for you. It was all worth it." He say barely able to breath with his crying.

Josh: "Dad wha- MOM?!" He says running up to her and giving her a hug.

Levi: "Oh my Joshy you've grown up so much!" She says crying even more. "I'm back. Lets all be a family again."
