A couple of Days had passed since Alexis was last here. I was currently working on some pictures for Griffin while Jaden took the babies to the sway house. My phone started ringing and I looked over at it, it was Alexis. I sighed and picked up the phone.
"Hello," I said and she sighed.
"Y/N can we talk," Alexis said and I rolled my eyes.
"About what?" I asked.
"Its really important, can I come over?" She asked and I put my laptop to the side.
"Sure," I said.
"I'll be there in a couple minutes," Alexis said before hanging up the phone. I groaned, not wanting to see her and saved my progress before closing my laptop. After ten minutes the doorbell rang and I got up from the couch to open it.
"Hi," she said with a sigh and I looked at her questionably.
"What so important?" I asked and let her in.
"I think Jaden is getting high and drinking again," She said and I rolled my eyes mentally, not believing a word.
"Why do you think that?" I asked.
"Because Daniel has seen him around," Alexis said and I scoffed.
"Since when do you talk to Daniel?" I asked.
"We ran into each other and caught up, I just worried for you and the babies," She said with probably the fakest excuse I've heard fr ok m her.
"Alexis mind your own business, I know for a fact Jaden isn't drinking again or getting high, he's here every night and day making sure our family is okay," I nearly shouted at her and she rolled her eyes.
"Fine but if something happens don't come to me," Alexis snapped at me before leaving. I rolled my eyes as she left. We've been friends for a couple years now? Why is she doing all of this? I thought about how she said she was talking to Daniel, hes involved too great. Maybe shes sleeping with him too now. All these negative thoughts ran through my head, making me question everything. I didn't even notice Jaden had come home with the babies.
"Mommy!" Lara screamed, running up to me, making my thoughts shatter.
"Hi baby, did you have fun with your uncles," I said and picked her up onto my lap. Lara nodded and Jaden came into the livingroom.
"We need to talk," I said and he looked at me questionably.
"Ok?" He said questionably.
"JJ is sleeping upstairs," Jaden said and sat next to me.
"Ok, Lara baby can you play in your room?" I said and put her down. Lara ran off and Jaden looked at me confused.
"Alexis came by again," I said and he groaned.
"What happened now?" Jaden asked.
"She told me that you relapsed," I said and his eyes widened.
"She told you what?!" Jaden shouted and I took his hand.
"Calm down," I said and the rage in his face didn't go away.
"That's bitch had no right to tell you that, I'm not drinking again, I wouldn't do that to you and the babies," Jaden yelled and I sighed.
"I know," I said and he took out his phone.
"What are you doing?" I asked and Jaden dialed a number.
"Calling her I'm done with this shit," Jaden said and I looked over to Lara sitting on the stairs.
"Jay..." I sighed and he looked at me. I nodded towards Lara's direction and he hung up the phone, turning towards Lara. She looked like she was about to cry, I got up from the couch and went over to her.
"Dada," Lara said with tears going down her cheeks. I wiped her tears away and picked Lara up.
"Babe you scared her," I said and Jaden sighed.
"I'm sorry, Alexis is just really pissing me off," he said and I nodded.
"I know," I said and Lara put her head on my shoulder.
"Are you tired?" I asked, looking at her and Lara nodded.
"Ok, do you want Daddy to put you to sleep?" I asked and she smiled.
"Dada," Lara said and put her arms out to Jaden. He took Lara from me and kissed me quickly.
"I'll be back down in a few minutes," Jaden said and went upstairs. I sighed and went back over to the couch. I went on my phone for a couple minutes not realizing an hour. I groaned, sitting up on the couch and got up to go upstairs to check on Jaden. When I got to our room Jaden was asleep with Lara on his chest. I smiled at the sight before putting the blanket over them. I kissed Lara's head and Jaden's phone buzzed on the nightstand. I looked over and saw Alexis' name on the screen. I shook my head as she called. I quickly grabbed the phone and picked up.
"Jaden what the fuck you were supposed to be here you dick, You promised Bryce you'd come, where are you?" She yelled and I rolled my eyes.
"He's asleep you bitch, stop calling my husband," I said, with the biggest attitude I've ever given her. I walked out the room not wanting to wake them.
"Oh I'm the bitch, says the girl that slept with my ex," she argued back.
"I didn't know he was your ex and you need to move on it's been years," I argued.
"No I will not move on you took him from me," She said, sounding really childish.
"You cheated on him, you didn't love Jaden you just used him for money and sex," I argued and she huffed.
"Oh please you cheated on him too, you're nothing to him, he's only still with you because of those babies," She said and that hit me hard.
"That's not true, Jaden loves me and you mean nothing to him, go back to sucking Ryan's dick Alexis," I said before hanging up the phone.
"What was that?" Jaden asked, sounding extremely sleepy.
"Alexis that bitch just wants you back,"I said as tears filled my eyes.
"Come here," Jaden said, opening his arms. I hugged him tightly as he rubbed my back.
"I'm sorry all of this is happening," Jaden said and I just closed my eyes as my head was on his chest.
"Its not your fault," I said and Jaden nodded.
"I know but I hate seeing you so stressed, how about we get away for a bit, just us and the babies," Jaden said and I smiled. I nodded and stayed quiet as we stood in the hallway. Jaden kissed my head and took my hands.
"You need some sleep," Jaden said and we went into our room and cuddled up with Lara.
