He left for some meeting.... Then I was still sitting in the dining area.... I thought of calling Sumi mom since I need to send the gifts too which I brought for them.... So I called her on the same landline number.... Then my call was answered....
"Hello.... Who's speaking?"
"Mom... Bela here...."
"Yes Bela.... How are you? And how was the trip?"
"It was good mom.... Also I have brought something for y'all...."
"You didn't have to Bela...."
"But I did want to mom...."
"Awww.... How is Mahir? He was sounding so low last night.... Everything okay between you both?" , Did he call her? I don't know....
"Last night? Sorry I don't know? He called you?"
"No Bela.... I called him.... But he was sounding low...."
"Ohh... I didn't know.... Sorry.... Btw he is fine...."
"Then good.... Wait.... Bela.... My phone is ringing.... Please hold for a minute...."
"Sure mom...."
I was holding it for about 5 minutes now.... Mom still did not answer.... So I just disconnected the call as I was worried.... I called again only to get it answered again by someone else....
"Hello, who?"
"Bela here.... Yuvi?" , I could recognise his voice....
"Yes.... Bela.... ", He answered in a hoarse voice....
"Yuvi? Is everything fine? You sounding different...."
"Bela.... No it's not...."
"Why? What happened?"
"Bela.... Pappy.... Mahir bro told you about Pappy didn't he?"
"No, you tell what happened?"
"Bela.... Our Pappy.... Mom's dad I mean.... Our grandfather... Pappy.... He.... He is no more...." , And he started sobbing....
"Hh.... How? I mean? Sorry...."
"Yes... We just now got a call from Pappy's place.... And we got to know this...."
"Mahir knows?"
"Yes Bela.... I called him just now to tell him the same.... Just a minute ago.... And he is coming to Pappy's place directly...."
"Umm... Yuvi.... Please take care.... And please take care of everyone...."
