One, two, three Take off, last stop
Countdown 'til we blast open the top
Face first, full charge
Electric hammer to the heart
Clocks move faster
'Cause it's all we're after now, oh
Won't stop climbing
'Cause this is our time, yeah
When all the days felt black and white
Those were the best shades of my life
Don't look down
'Cause we're still rising
Up right now
And even if we hit the ground
We'll still fly
Keep dreaming like we'll live forever
But live it like it's now or never
We ain't searching for tomorrow (tomorrow)
'Cause we got all we need today (today)
Living on a feeling that's been running through our veins
We're the revolution that's been singing in the rain
Don't look down
'Cause we're still rising
Up right now
And even if we hit the ground
We'll still fly
Keep dreaming like we'll live forever
But live it like it's now or never
It's now or never (now or never)
The boys walk over to the lady cleaning a counter, laughing about how Alex was rocking it.
"Nice job out there guys! I was really feeling it!" She says. Three of the four boys smirk.
"Hi I'm Luke!" The lead guitarist smiles.
"Reggie," The bassist chirps in.
"Alex," The drummer smiles politely.
"I'm Bobby," The other guy, says smirking.
"Here's our demo!" Reggie hands her a CD case with a white letters spelling SUNSET CURVE over a black background. "And a t-shirt, size beautiful." He winks and hands her a white t-shirt with black lettering.
She holds it up and smiles. "I'll make sure not to wipe a table with this one!"
"That's good!" Alex chimes in. "When they get wet they just.. fall apart in your hands."
Luke laughs awkwardly, shooting Alex a look. "Well boys, let's go get the street dogs!"
"You guys go," Bobby turns to the girl. "Vegetarian. I could never hurt an animal."
Luke overhears this and leans toward her. "He had a hamburger for lunch," The boys walk away laughing.
Once they get their food they sit on the couch behind the car. "When will we be able to eat somewhere where the condiments aren't served in the back of an old's mobile?" Alex complains. The other boys just laugh.
"Dig in boys!" Luke says. "Tonight will change our lives forever!"
"To the Orpheum!" Reggie giggles.
"To the Orpheum!" Luke and Alex repeat.
They all hit their dogs together and take a big bite.
"That's a new flavor," Alex mumbles around his hot dog.
"Chill man, street dogs haven't killed us yet!" Reggie exclaims.
Luke laughs and takes another cautious bite.
Suddenly Alex is on the ground choking. Luke reaches forward to help him as Reggie falls too. Luke, terrified, calls for help.
"HELP! HELP! THEY CAN'T BREATHE!" He pulls the boys to them and starts to cry. Then his throat closes and he starts choking. He hugs the boys as he struggles to breathe. Then his vision fades into black.
(Sorry it's so sad, the end comes up again so I needed to add it. Thanks for reading! Chapter one should be out soon!)
