After Alex leaves, I go downstairs to make a sandwich. As I make my way to the kitchen I see Dad at the computer looking very focused.

"Hey, Dad! Whatcha working on?" He looks up as I reach him and I can see some photos of the house on his screen.

"Oh just the photos for the real estate agent."

I move closer to look at them in more detail. "Dad, they look great!"

He chuckles and blushes a little, the way he does whenever one of us praise his work. "Yeah?"

"Yeah!"

He chuckles again. "Okay. But these," He pulls up some pictures of mom's studio. "didn't turn out."

I look closer and spot three bright dots next to the piano.

"There's these white spots everywhere," He looks to me. "They almost look like orbs, don't they?"

Carlos freaks out when he hears orbs. "Orbs!? You know people say that they are ghosts!" He looks to see the three dots and adds quieter. "Do you think that's Mom and she made some ghost friends?"

"That's a nice thought Carlos, but there is no such thing as ghosts," Dad gives Carlos a quick hug.

"You can just get rid of those," I add. Dad nods and trashes the two photos. Okay, now's the time. "You know, I was thinking," I take a deep breath. "If we're only moving because of me, and you and Carlos want to stay, I'm fine with that."

"I vote we stay!" Carlos exclaims. "I don't want to have to clean under my bed," He adds sheepishly.

"Noted." Dad points at Carlos laughing. "What changed your mind?"

I look around the room and scoff. "A number of things, I guess... I know Tia says moving out is moving on, but I don't think that's the answer. All of our memories with Mom are here, and we should be too."

Dad nods in agreement. "I completely agree with you, Mija. Moving on has to come from within. And one of us took a huge step this morning!" He looks pointedly at me, and it's my turn to blush.

"All in favor of staying?" We all raise our hands and Dad 'yess's quietly. He pulls us into a quick group hug.  "Okay, I have to call my realtor friend!"

He grabs his phone off the stand and leaves the room toward the stairs. I leave Carlos in the living room to go make sandwich. As I turn the corner from the stairs I see someone standing in front of our open fridge.

"Ah!" The figure turns and I see that it is just Luke. "I am never getting used to that!"

I walk up to him and look over his shoulder at the bread. "Can you even eat?"

He shakes his head slowly. "I just wanna see whatcha got."

He stands still staring intently in the fridge until I grab the sandwich things and close the door through him.

"Hey! Do you know how long it took me to open that?" I look at him slightly annoyed.

"Sorry, I'm not a big fan of wasting power!" I snap.

"Good, that's what I wanted to talk to you about!" He runs over to me and I look at him with furrowed brows.

"My electricity?"

He laughs. "No, you. Your power." I have no idea what he's talking about. "Your voice!" He adds.

I continue making my sandwich. "I already tried asking Mrs. Harrison to let me back into the music program and she said no."
