i was supposed to update earlier today and then.. i forgot

omniscient

billie tapped her fingers against the steering wheel as she waited for aaliyah to come outside.

a smile spread across her face as the girl of her dreams strutted towards her car.

aaliyah had on grey sweat pants with a matching sweatshirt, coincidentally matching billie's grey outfit.

"hi pretty girl " billie said to aaliyah as she sat down in her car with a smile on her face.

aaliyah blushed at the name. billie rarely used aaliyah's real name. always settled for pretty girl or baby. it gave aaliyah butterflies everytime.

"hey bil. are you gonna tell me where we're going yet?"

billie shook her head and smirked, pulling out of aaliyah's driveway.

the shorter girl pouted and crossed her arms, as she has been trying to get billie to tell her since the night prior.

billie held onto the steering wheel with her left hand and placed her right on aaliyah's thigh, having it far up, but not too far.

"calm down my love, you'll know when we get there".

aaliyah turned her face towards the window, trying to hide the smile spreading across her cheeks from the pet name she was just called.

billie kept the wheel steady as she handed aaliyah her phone, telling her to connect to the aux and play one of billie's playlists.

billie's eyes widened as 'boyfriend' by justin bieber came on, causing her to turn the radio up.

"i can take you places you ain't never been before.
baby take a chance or you'll never ever know" billie sang.

"oh god, you're a belieber." aaliyah said, laughing at billie who was too busy dancing in her seat.

billie turned to aaliyah and glared as her mouth dropped a little, "yes, and proudly".

aaliyah shook her head but ultimately decided to sing along with billie during the chorus.

"i don't never wanna fight yeah, you already know. i'ma make you shine bright like you're laying in the snow" aaliyah sang, causing billie to smile at her.

billie took glances at aaliyah as she danced in her seat, singing with a pretty smile spread across her face.

billie kept her eyes on aaliyah as she sang that part, knowing that she meant every word she was singing.

"if i was your boyfriend, i'd never let you go
keep you on my arm girl you'd never be alone" aaliyah sang, joining billie as they both alternated between lines.

"spend a week with your boy i'll be calling you my girlfriend" both girls sang together, causing them to both laugh.

after a few karaoke sessions in the car, billie finally pulled into the parking lot of where she was taking aaliyah.

"okay, can you tell me now?"

billie shook her head, hopping out of the car and jogging over to aaliyah's side. she helped aaliyah out of the car and held onto her hand.
