Review:
So I recently got into second chance books and stuff and found this gem of a book and read it in one go from 7-12 at night.
This book's got a bit of spiritual stuff related to death, like souls and reincarnation etc.
So basically, Casey is in a car crash and dies but is somehow given a second chance at life and her soul goes into a pregnant woman's body who's in labor. Bear with me here.
Casey is a really good character. She doesn't take what she has for granted and values everything everyone does for her and she's so nice to people. She's not afraid to stick up for herself or get revenge on those who've wronged her. Her coming to terms with what's happened to her and trying to break Cassandra's reputation is fascinating to watch.
For a main dude, Carter is okay. He's hopelessly in love with his wife but he comes off as really cold and stoic for half the fucking book and I'm just sitting here like loosen the flipping hell up. The book could've been half as short if he just trusted the people he was supposed to like *insert non-existent frustrated emoji*
The side characters are actually really well developed. Simon's like a really posh British guy and he's amazingly friendly and although he's not there too much he's really important. Harper is also a really cool guy and he's Jamaican and a cook/butler and he's in the story at a time where a lot of changes are taking place and he causes some of them too 😉. Greta seems like she'd have been more involved in a prequel but she's only there like twice so ignore her. I could tell you the name of a side character I really hate but then is spoil it when you meet this aforementioned person.
I loved this book so much I could not put it down, and I hope you'll fall in love with them too 😊.
[Edit: Apparently this book was a plagiarization of someone else's work. Someone in the comments left a link to the original so please go read it!!]
Happy Reading 😊,
Sai
I'm so sorry I haven't updated in forever. I mentioned why in my Author's note but I didn't explain fully. I get to use my iPod for an hour for as many subjects I study like if I study two subjects I get two hours. I also have to check other things, like my twitter, updates on Wattpad, games etc. and I have to type it all out here and I can't do it on my laptop because it's got a virus 😕.
On a much sadder note, I would like to wish Harold Edward Styles of Holmes Chapel a very happy belated 21st birthday. Please excuse me while I drown in my tears. 😭😭😭😭😭😵.
On a much happier note WE FUCKING WON THE SUPERBOWL IN YOUR FACES NONBELIEVERS. I support the Patriots if that wasn't obvious. That play by 21 though... goes to show you our rookies are better than the Seahawks' best players.
Okay bye 😊😊😊!
