Review:

I don't usually read Short stories but for this one I'll make an exception, because it's that damn good.

The only two characters in this story are Anna and Jonathan.( I pronounce it like Anna from Frozen but you could pronounce it however you'd like)

Since there are only two characters it really makes no sense to analyze them, so I just left that bit out.

But I have to clarify about Anna so here it is. She's Santa's granddaughter. She's got a twin brother named Nicholas and he does the present spreading but this year ( in the story ) he was sleeping and really lethargic, so their mum made Anna do the present spreading. ( I nearly wrote do "it" but that wouldn't have been taken too well...😉) Oh, and she's practically immortal. Just throwing that out there.

Each chapter is Christmas Eve for 12 successive years, because we clearly don't want to know what happens the rest of the year. The whole story is just what Anna and Jonathan do each year when they see each other and how their friendship is as time goes by. And it's only 12 chapters, if you didn't understand the first sentence in this paragraph.

There's a twist in the middle which was really unexpected and I hate reading after that because my feelings are so messed up.

I swear to god I cried when I read this but I'm emotionally fucked up anyways so don't take my word that you'll cry BUT YOU'LL CRY.

It was just a small, short, bittersweet story and I'm really sorry in advance if I make you cry in Christmas but this book is worth the tears.

I found this in one of my irl friends' reading lists, but I didn't read it until I saw it in the Christmas suggestions list from Wattpad and finally added it to my library and read it.

Hope you have a wonderful Christmas and New year!
Merry Christmas

I don't wanna write Author's notes in italics anymore. it just looks way too weird. I'll have the Rant book and some actual real books that I'm working on up by my birthday next year so yay for that 😄. If anyone can make book covers or knows someone who could, I'll need covers for those new books soon enough. I didn't get any gifts this Christmas ( or the last two Christmases ) so I'm really in the dumps. Hope y'all are enjoying your breaks a lot more than I am! 🎄🎅🎁
