Review:

The first thing that caught my eye about this story was its title. The next thing was the synopsis. Her eye sight is slowly deteriorating. It's not gone and it's not a cheesy plot twist because the author can't think of anything else, it's the plot itself and that is a novel thought.

The story goes as the synopsis says it does. She's at the doctor's and he's telling her she won't be able to see in four months. As expected she takes it bad, and goes to a lake to collect her thoughts when Chase enters. And the plot gets going.

The initial chapters are kinda slow and seem a bit to coincidental to be true, because in reality you wouldn't see Chase again if you were Rose, but good thing this book is fiction and Jordan writes convincingly enough to pass this romance off.

As the plot really gets going, it gets a bit cliché, as most stories do a couple chapters in, and it does take away from the simplicity of the main plot but it's still quite nice.

Rose seems like a character that could easily be misunderstood. She's keeping this blindness thing a secret because she doesn't want it to affect the chances of a relationship with Chase she has.

Chase is a bit of a meh character throughout, but at the end of the book he surprised me and made me realize there was more to his character than I initially thought.

Overall, this book was a light and refreshing quick read and was engaging till the very end. Short and definitely sweet :) .

Happy Reading!
