You sat down on the grass, your back against a tall tree, your legs at your chest watching as everyone else walked around, not seeming to notice you. After a while you took out your homework and instead of actually working began to doodle on pages. "helllooo nurse! names Yakko! Wanna get to know you better if you get what I mean!", someone yelled out and winked when you looked up. "oh.. hi i'm y/n.", you replied trying to avoid eye contact. "Watcha doin' there?", Yakko asked before bending down and snatching your homework from your lap. "huh. chemistry. I could teach ya easily", he smirked handing you back the paper. You blushed awkwardly unable to think of a response. "Why are ya out here all alone y/nnn", Yakko sat next to you on the grass. "I just don't want to go home yet." "why?", he asked and you just stared at him. "so.. your not much of a talker huh? bet your a great kisser then.", he said plainly as if it was part of his everyday vocabulary. "well uhm I don't know..", you responded while staring down at your lap, still avoiding eye contact. You felt him scoot closer, now your sides were touching and he just sighed as he stared out at the people walking. After a moment of silence you started stuffing your homework and pencil into your book bag and stood up. "heyy! where are you going?!", Yakko whined. "what.. I was just going home.", you said this time looking at his face but still not his eyes. "aw well okay! maybe tomorrow i'll see you again we could have more fun!!", he yelled out as he began to walk the opposite way.

You left school once again, except this time you were planning on going directly home. You were still thinking about your encounter with Yakko, was he actually interested in you? Or was he just another flirt using you as a pon for entertainment, before you could finish your thought someone wrapped their arm around your shoulder. "Hellooo Y/n!", he yelled out and wiggled his eyebrows dramatically. "hi", you replied blushing. "So where are we goin  today?", he asked his hand still calmly on your shoulder. "Well.. uh I was just gonna go home...", you replied staring at your feet as you walked. "cmon I can tell your tense just let me show you some fun!!", he said sounding a  bit desperate. "what kind?", you asked thinking he would come up with a weird sexual remark, but to your surprise he sounded genuine. "I don't know the roof of that old abandoned house down 15th street? The sunset looks nice there", he said and stopped walking to look at you. "oh uhh yeah that sounds nice", you smiled back and he rewrapped his arm around you and continued to walk. While walking he just went on and on about school, and his siblings, you didn't mind in fact you liked listening to him talk. "alrighty were here!  Let's go inside we can get on the roof through the upstairs window.", Yakko announced and you nodded your head in agreement. "watch your step!", he said and held your hand tightly as he cautiously led you through the broken down house. There was shards of glass all around the floor and broken down furniture, broken windows, and very old rusty toys scattered. He led you up the stairs careful not to let you step on any glass or wooden splinters sticking up from the ground. You both made it up the stairs and he led you into a small bathroom, the tub was filled with mold and glass. "okay you stand here i'm gonna go through the window and i'll help you up.", you watched closely as he stepped on the bathtub ledge and climbed through the window and onto the roof. "Wait what if I fall", you said nervously as he motioned for you to step on the tub. "here grab my hand!", he said reaching through the window and helping you climb through. You were both now on the roof, the sky a golden orange and purple. "sit here and watch your step.", Yakko said patting a small space between him and the window. "The sky looks nice.", you said quietly, by the second you felt more and more comfortable around him. He wrapped his arm around your shoulders again. "Y/n I wanna know more about ya sorry if I started out a bit strong", he said with a sigh as he kept his eyes on the beautiful sky. You smiled also keeping your eyes on the sky. "It's fine Yakko I liked it.", you said softly and he smirked. After a while it got dark and you both climbed back through the window. He started to walk you home and asked you questions about your life. "So what was your childhood like?" "do you like school?" "If you could be any zoo animal what would you be?" Once you got to your house you thanked him and exchanged phone numbers he texted you almost instantly after he left.
