Scared -Wakko x Reader

2nd person pov
You were in the movie theater watching the new horror movie "Unhinged", you sat at the end of the row next to Wakko, who sat next to Yakko and then Dot. When the movie was getting scary Wakko began to hug onto his knees, but you, Yakko, and Dot didn't notice because of how focused you guys were on the movie. Suddenly you felt Wakko tap your shoulder. "y/n will you come get popcorn with me?", he asked quietly and you looked back at Yakko and Dot fully focused on the movie. "Okay but let's hurry", you whispered back and the both of you snuck quietly out the theater and to the concession stand.

The both of you made the long line and waited. "You can go back to the movie if you want", Wakko said quietly and you noticed for the 5 minutes of standing there with you he hadn't said a word other than that. "Is something wrong?", You asked. "No", he replied but then quickly took it back. "Okay fine!! The movie is freaking me out! I don't like it!", he wailed and clung onto you. "Wha- Wakko it's okay if you don't like it! You don't have to watch it", you replied rubbing his back slowly. He sniffled and looked up at you but before saying anything he noticed it was your turn to order snacks and ran up to the cashier.

After ordering the both of you walked back to the theater, but before walking through the door you remembered what he had said earlier. "Wakko are you sure you wanna keep watching? we could go home I'm sure Yakko and Dot won't mind!", You reassured him making sure he didn't feel any pressure to re-enter the theater. "I can do it!", he replied and you both went in and sat at your seats.

~~time skip after the movie ur back at the water tower!~~~~

"I'm tired!", Wakko complained and threw himself face first into the couch. "Me too.", You replied sitting down next to him. He slouched onto your body and snuggled up close. "Yeah well i'm going to bed", Yakko said aloud and sleepily walked off into his room followed by Dot who walked to hers. You and Wakko stayed on the couch for a few minutes silently until you decided you should go to bed as well. "Wakko i'm sleepy I'm gonna head to bed.", You said and he made a sad puppy face at you. You were too tired to notice and you walked into your room and straight to bed.

Not even 10 minutes passed before you heard your door open and woke straight up. "Wakko?, you asked the shadowy figure holding a teddy bear in one hand and a cookie in the other. "I can't sleep.", he said quietly and you sat up in bed patting a place for him to sit next to you. "I told you, you didn't have to watch the movie.", you said quietly and he slumped his body onto yours. "You make me feel better.", he purred as he nestled himself onto you. You blushed profusely. "Do you want to sleep here with me?", you asked and he sat straight up hugging his teddy bear and smiled at you, "Yes!" You both laid down under the warm blanket, facing away from each other. "y/n I still can't sleep.", he said sitting up and pouting. You thought for a second, "come here", you said sitting with your back against the headboard patting your lap for him to lay. "Nothing that happened in the movie was real Wakko you're safe. Don't be scared", you reassured him as you rubbed his head and back soothingly. "You make me feel very safe.", he said quietly and grabbed one of your arms to snuggle into.

~~next day!! ik 2 time skips woah!!~~~

'oww', you thought to yourself as you woke up, your back had been slouched on your beds headboard all night and it hurt. Wakko was still fast asleep in your lap his bear at his feet as he held onto one of your arms, causing it to fall asleep. "Wakko wake up!", you said quietly and shook your legs a bit. "huh?", he said as he sat up and looked around. "Sorry just my arm and legs fell asleep and my back hurts so bad.", you frowned and began to shake your limbs. "Oh i'm sorry", he replied and began to stretch. The both of you walked out of your room and onto the couch. "here", he said still half asleep and patted his lap. This time you laid on his lap, he put an arm around you as he flipped through the channels. "that one!", you said as your favorite show popped up on tv. He stopped flipping the channels and played with your hair as you guys watched. "Gooood morning!", Yakko yelled out as he waddled out of his room stretching and yawning. "Hi", both you and Wakko responded at the same time not taking your eyes off of the screen. "Hellooo!!", Dot then cheered as she came out of her room fully dressed and ready to go out. "Hi", You and Wakko both responded again. "Yakko why aren't you ready we're gonna be late!", Dot wailed at him. "Where are you guys going?", you asked and they both looked at you and Wakko on the couch. Yakko smirked "Looks like you two are having fu-", he was cut off by Dot. "We are going on a double date! Well we should be going in 20 minutes if Yakko gets ready! It's already 1:30!", she said glaring at him. "alright alright!", he said and walked back into his room to get dressed. "Are you hungry?", Wakko asked you and you sat up from his lap, "Yeah a bit.", you responded. "I took care of that!" Yakko announced as he walked out of his room now fully clothed. You and Wakko both looked at him with confused expressions. "Well Dot and I are going to eat so I ordered delivery from y/f/r (ur fav restaurant)", he said as he walked out the front door. "THANKYOU!", Both you and Wakko screamed and he smiled. Dot followed him out the door waving a goodbye.

The both of you waited patiently for the food to arrive and as soon as you heard a knock at the door the both of you ran like crazy to open it. "FOOD!", Wakko screamed as you opened the door and brought in the bags of yummy food. The both of you sat on the floor in front of the tv because tables are so overrated and began to eat together. After a few minutes the both of you devoured everything and sat on the couch now tummies full. "Wakko I love spending time with you!", you smiled. "Oh I love you!", he said loudly and hugged you tightly and began kissing your face. "I looveee you Wakko!", You said in a funny voice and he blushed before giving you one last big kiss. For the rest of the day you stayed on the couch talking, snuggling, and watching tv together, the happiest the both of you had been in ages.
