A/N:
This is going to be a quick note, but I will try my best to make Fischl sound like Fischl. If I don't, I apologize, it's just that she uses very unique language in her sentences.Y/N POV:
I can't allow my past to reveal myself, I need to make sure that I can make sure that Fischl doesn't reveal me.
"Can we talk in private?"
"So you shall smite I? I decline this approach-"
"Can you shut up, and listen to my words? It's been three years since you last saw me, and I changed. Mona, can you please take Lumine and Paimon somewhere else? I and Fischl will need to catch up again, It'll be a minute."
"Sounds good. Come on Lumine, let's give them some space."
As Mona, Lumine, and Paimon moved farther away, I felt safer talking about my past. I looked towards Fischl, who had a face of determination. It was quiet for a few seconds until I hear a voice from behind me.
"It's been a while, hasn't it, Y/N?"
I look behind me, only to see Oz.
"It's been a while."
"So why are you here in the first place?"
"Mona took a book of mine, and I need it."
"Let me guess, you need more power? Didn't you already have that element that is exclusive to you?"
"No, I need it for an invention I'm creating, I've changed throughout the years, unlike Fischl."
This was a lie, but If I was, to tell the truth, I wouldn't have a chance to get that book back.
"Monsters can't change."
I turn around to see Fischl, staring directly at me with determined eyes.
"Fischl, I won't do an action like that again, but those people deserved it, they exploited villages and were apart of crimes, including murder."
"It doesn't justify killing them since they killed other mortals."
"I'm just helping the families that had their family members killed. What if they did that to you, what if it happened to me. Don't you understand why I killed them?"
I need to calm down, I'm starting to get attention placed on me, which isn't needed. It's natural though, this girl doesn't get it. I'm avenging the families that had to suffer through this, I'm solving what the law ignored. She wouldn't get it, which is better than going through this, but she should at least agree with me. They were the trash of mankind, I know because it happened to me, and the worse type of people would only do this.
I leaned into her ear and whispered.
"If you don't agree with me, that's fine, but if you reveal any of this to the others, I'll kill you."
I straighten my back and make my way back to the group. I don't like threatening people anymore, and I probably won't even kill her if she tells anyone, because that would make it impossible to get the diary back. I just needed to scare her enough to make sure she won't say anything to anyone, as that would make it much easier to tell who I am.
Fischl POV:
I don't know what to do now, he doesn't seem as dangerous when he was working with the Fatui, as he wouldn't allow a person to take something of his without him taking a hand, but I should still exercise caution. If my power-scaling is correct, he should be able to match a Fatui Harbinger in strength and speed, even without that unknown element of his. I can't tell the others, because if he finds out, I'll be gone. My only option is to help them out and make sure he doesn't hurt the others.
