"I can't see him"

"Zayn, come on he wants to see you"

"I can't!" Liam jumps at the way Zayn raises his voice  "I-I'm sorry I just...I can't see him Liam. Especially not with the way I left him" he mumbles the last part, putting his head in his hands as he stares at the ground trying to calm himself.

Liam sighs and placed his hand on Zayns back that was still bare, he saw more scars reach his shoulder but didn't want to comment on it at the moment. "Trust me if you don't see him then you will regret it, it'll just make him more disappointed" he reaches down to grab the sweater Zayn had on and hands it to him.

A few seconds pass before Zayn sits up straight and takes the sweater to put it back on, covering his tanned, inked skin that Liam was too focused on. Once it was covered, he clears his throat and grabs his own shirt to put back on as well.

He fixes it on himself and looks up to see Zayn staring right at him while biting his bottom lip, lost in his own trance. Deep down Liam really just wanted to continue where they left off but also wanted Zayn to see Niall; maybe they could continue soon after.

"What you thinking about?" Zayns voice suddenly brings Liam back to reality and he realizes he was just staring as well.

"N-nothing" he felt his cheeks heat up so he turns to look out to the window "we should go now that the rain has calmed"

He doesn't hear a reply from Zayn so he turns back to see the quiet man silently keeping his eyes on him. Suddenly, a crooked smile appears on his face for the first time tonight "Yea I guess we should, though I should probably wait till my boner goes away" Liam doesn't know why but his eyes went straight down to Zayns lap to see an obvious bulge in his sweats causing him to not only feel more heat rise to his face but also down to his own lower region.

He noticed he was looking too long and turned away to go down to his room, hearing a loud laugh from Zayn as he does so. Despite the embarrassment he was feeling, Zayns laugh was like music to his ears especially just after hearing his heartbreaking cries.

The two walked down the hall towards Nialls room; feeling nervous and anxious. Liam was just hoping louis wouldn't make a scene that would result in security throwing him out.

They soon reached the door of the patient room Niall was staying in and as Liam went to open it, Zayn grabs his hand to stop him. The brunette turns and raises his brow.

"Can I go in alone?"

"Um sure want me to check if Louis is in there?" Zayn shook his head then looked past him down the hall. Liam turns and sees an upset Louis standing a distance away with a bag of chips in his hand. "I'll make sure he doesn't go in" Liam mumbles before moving away from the door and letting Zayn go in.

He takes a deep breathe and turns to back to Louis who was now walking towards him. "Zayn wants to be alone with Niall"

"For what? To finish the job?" Louis replies harshly before going to reach the door but Liam stands in front to block him "move it Liam, I'm pissed at you too"
