Just like a city light flashing before my eyes, I found myself outside the main house. The piece of wood and material I once called home, and chamber of torture.
Akito must be somewhere in there, doing gods know what to herself, and to the other Sohma members. If what Rin said is true, then I'm afraid our evil mother succeeded turning her remaining child into a clueless demon.
I let out a sigh, relaxing my shoulders and braced myself for whatever I'll find inside this cruel house.
And just in a split moment, I was carefully walking inside the spacious, and dark hallway.
It's quiet.
And dim.
Only the sound of my footsteps echoed across the tiled floor, and fast breath fills the silence in here.
Until one of the doors to the many compounds slides up, and a brown haired man steps out. He's slender, yet muscular built, with a tall stature. Wearing a professional suit, which consist a black vest, unbuttoned grey shirt, black pants and brown shoes. His hair is reaching down to his nape, styled with M-shaped messy bangs on the left side, and two cowlicks sticking out from the top of his head. His eyes is brown and calm, his expression appear rather dead and unemotional.

"Can I help you?" He asked bluntly, standing there like a lifeless statue.
"I'm looking for Akito." I replied firmly.
"Akito isn't feeling well today, and last time I checked, visitors wasn't a part of today's schedule."
"Can't you make an exception?" He shakes his head lightly at my question, "No. If you know what's best for you, leave this house. Now."
I tilt my head, narrowing my eyes at him, "Trust me, it took every bit of nerve I've got left in my body to waltz in here like this." I cross my arms, tilting my head back, "I'm not leaving until I meet Akito."
"You..." Before he got the chance to threaten me out the door, a tranquil, low voice spoke from inside the dark room he stands by, "Kureno, who are you talking to?"
He looked over his shoulder, answering whoever is hiding in there, "A woman. She wants to see you."
"See me?"
A weird silence struck between us, as the person in there was most likely deciding whether to let me in, or not. And waiting in such tension between another Sohma, is tearing my patience apart.
"Tell whoever she is to get lost. I'm not in the mood for visitors." The stern, low voice finally breaks the awkward silence.
"As you wish." Kureno replied obediently, eyes drifting on me, "There is your answer. I trust you know where the exit is, or do you want my guideline to find it?"
I frown in anger, "You can't be serious!"
He slides the door shut with a quiet *thud* and saunter towards me, "Come on. Out."
"But it's important!" He puts a strong hand on my shoulder, and turned me around, pushing me forward, "Hey!!"
"I'll let Akito know you were here. You should visit some other time." Kureno continued to push me all the way to the exit, and didn't stop until I was outside the damn house.
I whipped around, "Promise me you'll tell her about me!"
His eyes dilated in surprise and something that looked like fear, "E..excuse me?!"
"When she feels better, tell Akito that Blue Sohma greatly wishes to see her." At my words, he froze on the spot. Eyeing me as if he talks to a ghost.
I adjust my jacket and walked away, breathing in the fresh air to clear my mind, and restrain myself from any rash conclusions. For a moment, it felt like my entire body was on fire. And my breath stolen being inside that monster house.
But I made a damn good effort meeting my sister after all this time, and I can't ask for more than that.
I tried at least.
And now, I'll be the one waiting for her. If Kureno delivers my message, it'll hopefully set Akito's attention on fire, and when it does, we'll eventually stand face to face one day.
