Fred's POV:
George and I were running down the hall. We just pulled off a prank on Snape and we needed cover fast. However, we didn't suspect a Ravenclaw to be walking the hall and accidentally trip us.
Needless to say, we were almost caught by Snape and we needed to quickly find cover or else we'll be in big trouble.
"Fred! Turn left!" I felt George grab my upper arm and drag me left, I tripped over my feet and collided with another person.

But we were able to flee Snape and he continued to run forwards missing us completely. The person underneath me sounded annoyed as they pushed me up. George helped me stand as we recognized the poor boy. Malfoy.

'Aw great, this'll be good, I thought bitterly as Malfoy scrambled to stand. Brushing off his robes. When he spotted us, I visibly saw him roll his eyes.
"Weasel twins! How dare you push me to the ground, these robes are worth more than your whole father's pay-check!" He sneered as George tightened his grip on my shoulder. I rolled my eyes and clenched my fist.

"Shut up, Malfoy. It was an accident, don't get all frazzled on me or else you might ruffle your hair," George mocked back as Malfoy glared at my twin.
I could see the anger radiating through Malfoy's eyes. Speaking of his eyes, they're a very silver-blue colour. Pretty as well, they'd be a good shade to match with a light silver or perhaps gold.
'Why am I thinking about his eyes?' The thought of Malfoy and his eyes crossing my mind made me shiver. Scary, Malfoy is possibly the most arrogant and ignorant prick I've ever met.

"Oh shut up, blood traitors. We both know at some point you'll end up working for me in the future." Malfoy snickered ad he spoke the last part "Better begin kissing my shoes now. It'll give you practice!"
I wanted to knock him out and put him in his place, but I held my breath and let George do all the thinking. I just needed to move.
"Shut up, Malfoy. Your Daddy's money won't save you in the real world!" George gave Malfoy his best eye role and began to try and walk his way back to the exit, practically having to drag me away because I just kept glaring at the blonde.
Who does Malfoy think he is! That's what I want to know. What gives him the right to treat everyone like absolute garbage because they don't agree with his idea of things. On top of that, he thinks everyone else is below him just because he has the Malfoy name. And he spits our name out like garbage, has he ever listened to himself when he talks.
George saw my tense body language and sighed, "leave it alone Freddie. Don't let that git get the better of you."
I rolled my eyes and let out a long sigh, "I can't help it, George. He's so arrogant, it just bothers me."
George looked at me with empathy and nodded in understanding "I just don't want you doing something you'll regret later. You understand?"
"Yeah, I do. Thanks for holding me back, George."
George smiled and patted my shoulder as we walked back to the common room. I still couldn't forget about our encounter with the blonde. Not for the reason that he annoyed me, but because I couldn't look away from his eyes.

~A Couple Weeks Later~

What's wrong with me, I thought as I sat down on the couch in the common room, a few hours after dinner. Why was Malfoy such a big deal in my mind right now? Why am I only noticing now how his hair sometimes falls over his eyes at dinner when he doesn't gel it as much. How come his eyes are such a factor of his face.
Why am I thinking about the racist asshole so much!? I sat up quickly, alarmed by the realization I was sitting there for five minutes thinking about a guy who was very much one of the biggest problem factors in the life of my brother's best friend. Speaking of, Harry must know a lot about Malfoy.
Harry would know a lot of the things that annoy Malfoy. Maybe if I talked to Harry, I could get Malfoy out of my mind and finally sit down relaxed.
Yeah, I'm not talking to Harry about Malfoy. That would be the biggest mistake of my life. I sighed and saw George give me a curious look. He must know that I'm not myself. "Spit it out, George. I don't like when you look at me like that."
"Like what?" George asked with false confusion. I sighed, Come on George, don't play dumb. We both know what look you were giving me.
"George, don't play dumb. We both know you're too smart and observant to not know what type of look you were giving me," I felt myself go red with embarrassment. I just complimented my twin, he would never let this go.
"Aw, Freddie. You think I'm smart!" George teased me as he grinned.
"Shut up, George! Don't change the subject, what were you thinking!" I asked with a glare, but not meeting his eyes in fear he would see the actual battle I have going on within myself.
George sighed, "You were thinking really hard about something. I just...couldn't figure out what it was about, I usually know exactly what you are thinking based on what happened to us during the day. But your face, it was different than one I've seen on you before–"George began to lean forwards, with this determined look on his face–"I just want to know what it is. I don't like it when you're going through something and I can't be there to help."
I tried to change the subject by laughing, "Aw you care about me. How sweet!"
"Don't change the subject, Fred." Even though George was being serious, I could see the amusement in his eyes and sly grin at using my own words against me.
I smiled, "It's nothing life-threatening. So don't worry about it, okay Georgie."
"You can't stop me from worrying, Fred. I'm your twin brother. It's bound to happen whenever I don't know what's going through your head."
I sighed and crossed my arms and rolled my eyes "Yeah, yeah. I get that, I don't know what I would do without you."
"I would die without you, Fred." George held no sarcasm in his voice, no jokes either. He was blunt and serious.
"I would die without you too, George." That was the truth.
Suddenly I heard a voice and saw Hermione, Ron and Harry, all just starring at us.
"Sorry...we were going to walk down but stopped seeing you two, we were going to interrupt but I realized it was an important conversation so we just..." Harry trailed off as George raised an eyebrow.
"Decided to eavesdrop?" George questioned when he realized Harry wasn't going to continue.
"I don't think I've ever seen you two that serious before. Made me kinda nervous," Ron admitted as he went to sit beside me, the others finding their own spots.
"It rarely happens. Anyways, what were three going to do?" George questioned, changing the subject which I was grateful for.
"Nothing, important" Hermione waved her hand as she spoke, "Umbridge makes sure of that."
3rd Person POV:
Fred and George rolled their eyes a bit at the mention of the pink devil. They've encountered her quite a bit over the year. Plus with the Order of Phoenix up and running they've had to do a lot more sneaking around. Which had been difficult since they gave Harry their map, as their run-in with Malfoy earlier that week showed.
"I swear she's been sent from below just to ruin our year!" Ron exclaimed in an annoyed tone. "Why can't we just have one normal year..."
"Because your friends with me, mate.Pretty sure you've been cursed ever since we met." Harry grinned as Ron rolled his eye.
"That makes sense, what about you two. What's a normal year like?" Ron looks at the twins who both had their own mischievous smirks plastered on their faces.
"Now, Ronikins. Who says our years are normal?" Fred asked with a sly grin.
"Don't ask them anything, Ronald. Those two probably have more adventures in a day than we have in a whole year," Hermione huffed, "Actually. Maybe not...I'm pretty sure they've never played a death match of chess before, or have done anything remotely life-threatening."
Fred and George exchanged glances but decided not to question the Golden trio and their adventures. Perhaps they haven't had a 'normal' year, but they haven't had any crazy adventures like the trio have had.
"Well, I'm off to go out and explore the halls!" Fred jumped up as George followed suit, but then his other half sighed loudly. "You not coming, George?"
"I can't, I've got enough homework to drown in. I would just skip it, but if I do we can't pull the–thing to do with....the other thing" George bounced over his words, careful not to say anything. Usually, they wouldn't mind telling others, but this one is a surprise. And Snape's the main victim, along with the whole Slytherin common room. So George would sacrifice his free time, and do homework as long as they could get away with it.
"Now, now. It's alright, Georgie, I'll wonder myself! To scout to see if there has to be a change in plans!" Fred patted his twin's head who gave him a concerned look.
"Are you positive you're alright, Fred? I'm serious...you looked really confused and mentally drained earlier," George didn't mind they were showing this weakness. Harry and Hermione were practically apart of their family already, plus Ron was their little brother. The three never said it, but they all were closer than their other older brothers.
"Look, I'm fine. A walk would do me some good anyway," Fred grinned as George debated something in his head.
"Don't let Um-bitch catch you," George swatted Fred's hand away as both twins notice Harry cover his hand.
"Seriously don't, Fred." Harry looked directly in the twins' eye, to which Fred grinned and nodded.
Then Fred walked out and with his experience, he was able to avoid most obstacles, like professors.
Fred did need a walk, but it was mostly because his mind wouldn't rest on the idea of Malfoy.
Fred's not stupid, he noticed that when Malfoy came back in his 5th year, he got...nicer to look at it. However Fred felt he should also mention, he wasn't attracted to him. Romantically anyway.
However, Fred has also noticed the past week, Malfoy popped up in his mind more often. Is this a problem? Yeah, it most definitely is.
Fred never thought of himself, as to be attracted to boys, more so than girls. Reason? Angelina Johnson.
But, after the Yule Ball, Fred never really got back to her. Reason? He doesn't know himself. They're still friends though, nothings awkward between them.
Fred sighed and leaned against the cobblestone castle wall, staring out the window. However, Fred did have the idea he might be bisexual, reason? Oliver Woods. Fred has always found Oliver very attractive. George obviously knew, he came to him one day while it was just the two of them and sat down and had said:
